I think people are judging Lennon far too quickly he's won 3 out of 4 really tough games and has only been in the job 2 weeks we need to give him time to implement his style and after proving that he can grind out results when required i think given time he will start playing two up front and stop the pedestrian build up. I would still be looking for a top manager in Summer like Rose or Martinez but unless we can get someone of this calibre i would be more than happy with Lenny HH.

Dundee away shouldn't be a tough game though should it? Don't get me wrong, I love Lenny but I'll be hugely disappointed if he gets the gig full time.

Rodgers record away from home this season up until he left is not great.

Playing any team at the bottom who are determined not to get beat is tough. They are defending with all their players behind the ball making it hard to break through. Poor finishing didn’t help but luck was on our side in the end. The great thing is we are playing till the final whistle and scoring winners.

I will support anyone who manages Celtic even as I did BRexit when he led the team like lambs to slaughter against PSG rather than defend like Dundee yesterday and as Mallythetally said above BRexits away record this year was not great. I have to admit though that BRexit leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and I don't think I could support anyonee coming here telling us that he has always supported Celtic since he was a wee boy and will give 110% to make us great and break more records etc as I believe that the only one who has earned the right to say anything like that is LENNY. He knows what all of this means to us as he is one of us. So whilst I will support whoever it is I would be over the moon if Lenny gets the job fulltime.

Being one of us should not be a factor in getting the job.

I think been one of us would be off great benefit but certainly not credential.

Listen we’ve watched some pish Games this year from the previous manager, who never won at Easter rd, and don’t forget his team selection at new year.

Kev you’re right it’s not a requirement but it’s a bonus lest we hire another suntanned mercenary.

Hand on heart, how many people when they heard Lenny was stepping in, seen it as a caretaker role to the Summer? How many people said that they wanted Lenny back full time to take us up to 10? I'm a big fan of Neil, I think he has a great football brain and can change tactics when things are not going right but I also think he is not the manager to take us forward next Season. Our winning streak will come to an end, it's got to. Teams will just frustrate, frustrate and break as Dundee tried yesterday and Killie did to them on Saturday. They're getting good at it as we have seen over the last couple of Seasons. We need a manager who can deal with this type of negative football at the same time as blowing away some of our more game opponents.
The expectation of Celtic fans at the moment is bonkers. We now have a lot of younger fans who are basking in a great period for the Club and are not akin to the 90's and what we went through. I was talking to my Lad's mate yesterday after the Dundee game and he said that we should be winning games like that 5-0 every time. I told him that there was a time, not too long in the past where we couldn't buy a result against these teams and we played them in near empty stadiums. Didn't believe me!
Lenny will deliver number 8, whether or not he does the treble treble remains to be seen. It's only his to lose.

{Ed007's Note - You should have reminded him that we drew 0-0 with Dundee at Celtic Park last season. The way team's set up against us away from home I'm delighted with any win. Teams like Dundee will play 10/11 men behind the ball against us but that's not the way they set up and play against the likes of Accies that they know they've got a chance of beating.
At this point of the season - and considering what's gone before - any win's a vital 3 points.}

Completely agree with this Ed. It’s a big compliment to us that they play this way, and for me it shows the gulf when teams regularly go out to try and snatch 3 points off TRIFC.

It’s almost like Rugby these days where one guy is trying to make a tackle and the rest of the team are lined up behind him stopping any other pass or run. Also think that’s when you have to be more clinical with set pieces. If we were dangerous with corners and wide free kicks, teams would be worried about sitting this deep.
