Celtic fans on this site and in general scream their heads off about the boards lack of ambition but are now wanting Stevie Clarke or Neil Lennon as manger.

Where is the ambitions in they appointments?

{Ed007's Note - Thankfully Clarke has said he will only manage Kilmarnock up here and can you see him taking the Celtic job and the sectarian abuse that comes with it? Hopefully he sticks to his guns and doesn't fancy the hassle.}

Clarke and Lennon! We can't possibly go backwards like that - can we?
DD has set a precedent with a top class appointment in 2016 and if the club needs a full time replacement, there will be several proven, top candidates available in the summer - so no 'knee-jerk' please.
Even if NL comes in as caretaker and wins the two trophies, I would hope the Board don't take the conveniently easy option.

It's more so people getting realistic about our boards ambition.

No quality manager who isn't a Celtic fan would touch our job and that's just reality.

Campsie I am sure I read that Benitez has a clause that got triggered in January that he can walk away for nothing.
