Can't believe we're allowing Rodgers permission to speak to Leicester at this stage of the season. I've no problem with him leaving come the summer but right now? If he does indeed take the Leicester job which looks likely, the Celtic board have huge questions to answer. Typical board, see a few pound signs and think of the dough. If this does go through Lawwell and co better hope Lennon or whoever comes in gets this title over the line or there will be serious rumblings from the fans.

Serious rumblings? It would be a colossal f*ck up! Not impressed at all by this news he could be leaving mid season. And Lennon better not be the clubs idea of a permanent replacement by the way!

Garry what choice to the board have?
Refuse permission and he quits and then court cases?
Or he sticks it out ain't happy and we lose the league.
Nothing to do with pound signs.

It’s got everything to do with pound signs . It’s not the first club that’s refused a manager permission to speak to a club. You telling me rodgers would down tools, at a club he supposedly loves as his own because we refuse him to talk to Leicester? The board should stand strong, tell him he can go by all means but it won’t be before the summer.

It is all to do with last summer transfer window, the damage was done then and has been well hidden, what I mean by that is the fact that the first half decent opportunity that comes up, he is considering taking it. His love for Celtic is beyond doubt and even the honnour of a treble treble or taking us to 10 in a row is not enough to keep him, the questions must be asked of Mercers Desmond and Lawell, they did the same to Lenny, pulling the money from under his feet. We really have to question the ambition of our board, or rather maybe the business model which suits them and shows scant regard for us supporters. BR will no doubt be given pots of money by them to win the FA/ League cup.
I hope the board will do as much as possible to try and keep him.

Got this totally wrong; who could had seen this happening outside the Celtic Boardroom? Very disappointed in the news and timing.
Wonder how Desmond feels about his Messiah taking the 30 pieces?

Let's be honest it's not the board fault here. Rogers clearly want to go otherwise he would have said no thanks. All the board do is say Leicester have made contact and the rest is up to the manager. He clearly isn't happy at Celtic if he thinks Leicester is a better place for him.
