Absolutely disguisting scenes from the Valencian police talk about heavy handed! Something has to be done about that they are just leathering fans for nothing!

My bhoys over and he says he saw a lot of violence from the Spanish polis hitting people for nothing they've never recovered fae oldco in 72.

One of Mrs T's old friends married a Spanish policeman and we have visited a few times, his opinion of "British football fans" (all lumped in) is based on dealing with drunken idiots fighting all the time, he told us most Spanish policemen think like this. Even after Seville they are still edgy, they do not understand the difference between fans like ours drinking and singing loudly and hooligans, in his eyes any fan shouting or signing is a potential hooligan so they come down hard.
Let's be honest also, probably one or two of our idiot factions have stepped over the line, as much as we do not want to think of this ugly side.

Fair point Tim but some of the footage is just brutality seen a couple of tic fans getting cracked with the baton and they were innocently walking along a street.

Yes Mally, one of my girls sent me some photos and a short video. If police have attacked fans without reason, surely Celtic must complain to both the Spanish authorities and to UEFA. Heard also that a fans group are offering advice and legal help to any Celtic fan over there.

Seen that Tim av just txt the bhoy apparently the riot cops are tooled up outside Finnegans bar so expect more violence Celtic have to speak up on this.
