evening ed . any nees on griffiths he's bedn kept out the lime light just wonder hiw the boys getting on?

{Ed007's Note - I'll be surprised if we see LG back this season, Lummy and if we do I think it'll be no more than a bit part coming off the bench towards the end of the campaign.}

On that note Ed what do you think the future holds for Griff at Celtic. As you know from over the years I’ve been a huge Griffiths fan but I can’t help but think his days at Celtic may be numbered. I know he has a long term contract but with the arrival of Bayo and Brendan talking about the possibility of extending Weahs loan and I also believe we will try and keep Burke in some capacity I can’t see where Griff will fit in.

{Ed007's Note - I think LG still has a future at Celtic but barring injuries it will be on the bench and getting the odd start here and there. The only place LG could get the same money is in England and unless he's had a major change of heart he doesn't want to go back down there and there's no way Hibs or Aberdeen could even afford to pay the kind of fee Celtic would be looking for let alone pay his wages.
Bayo's a project and what happens if Weah and Burke both do return to their parent clubs? LG is a far better striker than Burke is so even if he does stay a fully fit and focused LG should start before him up front.
Maybe Rodgers is planning to use 2 up front like we seen with Dembele/Edouard where we'll need 4 maybe 5 players for those positions.}

Big fan of griff myself, season before dembele came he scores 30+ goals for us then all sudden he was dropped after dembele hat trick against THEM. And a couple of injuries which was abit of bad luck for him. If he was to come back after season I would like to see him abit more regular as we all know what he’s capable of playing in behind the defenders and set peices which we lack in. Maybe even try him out wide and cutting in on his favorite left foot would be lethal. We all know Brendan likes to switch it up abit I think Leigh would be great no matter what position he’s playing up front.

This season will soon be wiped out for Leigh . We haven't heard anything for a couple of weeks and hopefully that is a good sign .
A fully fit Leigh with his mind fully on the job would certainly be a great asset . Hope to see that again.

100 plus goals for the club
He may be mental but he’s my kind of mental.
Get well soon because an on form Leigh Griffith’s is the business.
Leigh griffiths wrapping a scarf round a post when all the Celtic fans have been banned from the ground - get in!

Who remembers the airplane over ibrox? ‘Hail hail th celts are here’!

Griffiths is still the best striker we’ve got in my opinion. That said, I don’t have the knowledge and experience that BR has and I would almost certainly be a piss poor manager. I really hope Griff can get back to match fitness and get in the right frame of mind and make the position his again.

I’m with you COYBIG imo Griff is our number 1 striker. I just think Rodgers trust in him may have gone and with all the strikers we now have maybe BR is looking to the future. I hope I’m wrong and would love to see a fit and healthy (both physically and mentally) Griff leading the line for us again.

{Ed007's Note - I think a fit Edouard will be first choice, for some reason Rodgers since the day he came in has always had his doubts over LG when he dismissed his 40 goal scoring record from the previous season.}
