With a failed 7million bid for Pannuci last season and a failed 8 or 9 million bid for Castagne in January I would have to say the club are trying to do all they can to improve the the quality of player at the club, I'm also sure that at the end of the season when the few who are out of contract have moved on steps will be taken to improve the squad.

Absolutely correct royjac, we're in the position at the moment we need to lessen the wage bill before we can add to it again. I'm sure we will spend relatively big on a right back and a centre half come the summer. To better other positions the price tag would be massive and that is if we can attract this type of player to Scotland. People tend to forget we have 9 or 10 very very good players already at the club with a value in the current market of probably around 80 million.

It's persuading these types of player to come to a one horse footballing backwater that's the stumbling block Royjac but some on here can't seem to grasp that.

So you want to stockpile CB's?

Correct me if I am wrong but we have 4, one who has moved from midfield to CB, one who I'd a midfielder that can play at the back and one on Loan. So in all we have 7 guy's that can play CB and you want more? Lol

Ok so Commper and Hendry haven't worked out and the Boyata situation hasn't worked out either, do you honestly think the club won't try and bring decent replacements in?
