If we cast our minds back to 2010 and the infamous match where Dougie McDonald overturned a penalty award and then lied saying the linesman told him to.

A short time after the match Craven, who was the linesman that day, resigned from his position.

A statement was released by the SFA saying he had resigned because of death threats. However, these allegations were never substantiated and it later turned out that Craven resigned because of bullying by Fleming and Dallas.

Now fast forward to last Celtic v Rangers match. Right after the match when the referees impartiality and decisions on the day came under scrutiny, the SFA released a statement to the papers saying he had received death threats.

Like before these allegations were never substantiated and it would appear that this allegation only came about to deflect away from the real issue of bias refereeing.

There were no death threats. My dad worked with craven when this happened.

Craven was only one punished because he came out with the truth. He is also a massive Celtic fan.

Like before, I am sure there were no death threats this time either. I just found it a convenient coincedence that the death threat allegation got rolled out once again, when the officials came under scrutiny for bias.
