Not seen anything of today's games, however my mate who is a bluenose tells me 3 of the 4 pens today weren't penalties. If this is the case then it'll be interesting to see how the SPF/ SFA explain it.

We're all told anyone at any given time can make a mistake but 3 out of 4 pens for the same team in the same match? Cmon? Can anyone tell me the last time any team in any country were awarded 4 pens in the same game yet no one was sent off?

Just seen highlights of the Sevies game on youtube, first pen stonewaller, 2nd dive by Defoe, 3rd handball outside the box, never seen footage of 4th but seen reaction of St Mirren players which tells a story. Operation stop the Ten in full flow.

Garryc1977 interesting the only other team in Scotland to get 4 penalties in the one game was Rangers1872 .
What I would like to know what was different with Andrew Dallas to pluck him out of his training and development and fast track him not only to Grade 1 but to refereeing games involving Celtic &! Rangers with far less training and experience than his colleagues .

One of the guys mentioned earlier Crystal Palace got 4 penalties 30 years ago.
They missed 3 of them and Brighton the team they were playing got one man sent off. Brighton also scored from a spot kick in the same match.
I remember a couple of times when the old club won the title on the last game of the season. They were given there usual help from Scottish referees.
Twice they went away from home up at Dundee near the end of both seasons.
The first one they were struggling away to Dundee and they kept getting penalties until they scored from one, that day it was 3rd time lucky.
A few years later they were at Dundee Utd in a rearranged match 5 or 6 games to go and Collum (our ref today, god help us) decided to award them 3 penalties and also sent off 3 Utd players, something I have never seen before.
Just before they died they were also given 3 penalties against poor old St Mirren, how they must love going there.

Just noticed that St Mirren game in 2011/ 12 season when they got 3 penalties, it was Collum that was the referee that day.
So twice Collum has given them 3 penalties in the one game.
And also sending off 3 players for 3 penalties which is a first for me.
Maybe that’s the hidden agenda slippy g is referring too.
Hopefully he is not centre of attention today.
