A lot of people moaning about only signing players on loan but this is the sign of the times. Players don't play for the shirt anymore, its all about who will pay their overly rediculous wages. I know there is the few exceptions to the rule (tierney, brown, Mcgregor) but they are a dying breed.
Just look at the transfer window tonight 95% of the deals in england were loan deals and that's because wages pale transfer fees into insignificance.

I don't see how anyone can complain about this window - probably one of the more successful we have had in recent times:

1. Signed a RB (priority position) in Tojian
2. Bolstered attacking options (Bayo, Weah and Burke)
3. Signed a few young prospects in Shved, Perez and Gutman
4. Locked down players to new contracts, most notably Brown and Henderson
5. Sent out a few on loan for game time - Mulumbu, Morgan, Miller

The loans we have are a good temporary measure, and I would imagine Tojian could turn into a permanent deal if he impresses.

All in all, as BR said we would, we have come out of the window much stronger than we went in and the club should be praised for the good business in this window. HH.

I was convinced we wouldn't get a rb. So good window in my humble opinion. Young quick attack side to team as opposed to well. You know🤔.

It's been a good window some very decent signings on loan with a point to prove. Only negative in this window is not getting rid of the likes of Compper, DDV, Allan, Benyu, Hayes, Gamboa. Shame Hendry couldn't be loaned out to develop because of Benkovics injury. Bigger window in the summer.

What do people not get? Nobody is complaining about loans.

People are just frustrated we never make significant signings for key positions.

We needed a CB for about 3 years and a right back for 2.

2 years and 4 transfer windows and we get a 6 month loan.

The guy might be decent but it's not the point.

We never act early and properly in the summer which could save us so much hassle.

We have almost 50 million in the bank, there's just no reason for it.

Tesla369 are you part of the Celtic financial team, if not, how do you know what Celtic have in the bank. In reply to posters this week the Ed of this site rolled out what the yearly wage for the club was, £52m, season ticket money won’t cover that so it has to come from somewhere. On another note you maintain that the American player was AWOL and that Lawwell sent him away till the end of the transfer window, if that’s the case the he wasn’t AWOL as AWOL stands for absent without official leave. Oldkilly.
