Lot of moaning about transfers, lawell the defence etc.
Here are my thoughts:
no one can say Rodgers hasn't been backed - There has been Lots of signings under his watch. A lot of them haven't worked out and are hard to move on and we have a huge wage bill as a result.

The smaller / greater quality squad hasn't worked out as planned as we have too many players of lower quality in the first team.

I reckon we could be on for a clear out in the summer but I doubt it will be comprehensive enough.

Rodgers skills seem to be coaching and getting the best out of players / team.
He doesn't seem to be the best at picking a player.
The club has a massive (unsustainable? ) wage bill but we are still bringing in players.

And we have had unprecedented success over the last two years, on course for another great year, we have the squad to win the league even with the injury list from hell.

As for pistol Pete's bonus I would sooner we had him than anyone else - I think he does a good job on the whole and the club is in a great place under his stewardship.

Look across the city. loans, dodgy share issues, courts and lawyers, admin 2? Remember the Kelly's and whites in the 90s? Now there are men who didn't deserve a bonus payed for by us.

The £59million wage bill seems to be the problem especially given the reputation the board have for being shrewd. Although we don't like to pay big fees we're clearly paying a lot more than we realise in wages (25k/ week =£1.3million (only) a year) yes last year would've had lots of bonuses for all the successes/ CL and new contracts were given to the better players but it still shows a lot of wastage. I expect boyata and possibly Ntcham to go this month (if mbemba and the young RB are included in the deal it's maybe not a bad thing) hopefully we have more luck with injuries and we should be ok. Also they need to do away with the January window it causes nothing but disruption every year.

50-60 million is a crazy wage bill for a scottish side . what's would the average weekly wage be for a footballer is say the Belgium/ Dutch/ Portuguese and away from PSG the French leagues .
