Ed any truth in the rumours about Sunderland's Josh Maja joining in a Dembele type deal?

{Ed007's Note - The story doesn't make any sense, why would we buy him just now and loan him back to Sunderland when we can sign him on a pre-contract and he'd stay down there anyway?
In saying that, if Rodgers is targeting more strikers it looks like he could be going to go with the formation he used with Dembele and Edouard.}

I just wondered if Maja would could be a replacement for Weah when he heads back to PSG. I know we have Griff to come back but I think BRs patience is wearing thin and I’m not sure he trusts Griff anymore.

So they want somebody to pay £4M for a guy who's out of contract in the summer but also loan him back until then? Aye fair enough Ed that is bonkers! I hadn't heard that price.

Buying Morgan and loaning him back didn't work out to well with Morgan .
We haven't the money to throw away on new players and loaning them out .
