Sorry for repost but the other thread is difficult to find now and the debate on bias against Celtic hadn't concluded.

@Jabba, you appeared to have avoided answering the question I posed to you earlier. Should I expect a reply?

By the way there are numerous examples of there being a pro-Rangers and anti-Celtic influence within the refereeing fraternity and the SFA.

1. Jim Farry deliberately holding up our signing of Jorge Cadete.

2. Hugh Dallas sharing anti-Catholic material with his colleagues within the SFA. The fact he thought it was OK to do it on a works email shows that there were others within the organisation that shared his prejudices.

3. Campbell Ogilvie helping Rangers cover up their use of EBTs and circumvent the player registration rules and thus cheat every team in Scotland for over a decade.

4. The SFA deliberately misleading the Lord Nimmo Smith enquiry into Rangers' use of EBTs and thus ensuring that Rangers were allowed to get away with their cheating with minimal punishment.

5. Bobby Tait the self-confessed Rangers fan, asking to referee his boyhood heroes in his last match in the 10-in a row season and being allowed to do so. The score was 0-0 at fulltime and Tait played way too much injury time which backfired on this occassion as Kilmarnock scored.

6. Rangers riculous amount of consecutive home ties in the cup after they resurrected from the dead. Don't recall the exact amount but think it was around 17 in a row, which has a riculously low probability of happening.

7. Granting Rangers a UEFA license to play in Europe despite knowing they had an outstanding tax liability. This was proven at Craig Whyte's trial.

8. Ignoring the rules regarding fit and proper person status, when they allowed Dave King to come back to Rangers as a director. This was despite him being a convicted tax fraud and also residing over oldco Rangers when they liquidated and cheated the rest of Scottish football.

9. The SFA trying to ignore the league rules by trying to extend the season and help Rangers the year they got to the UEFA cup final.

These are just a few examples I can think off at the moment and these can be added to the list of examples already provided by Ed.

Now Jabba, can you provide examples like this were the SFA or referees have done anything like this to the benefit of Celtic? (I bet you can't)

Moving back to the officiating at the last Celtic v Rangers game, every one of the officials chosen on that day were all of a Rangers persuassion. Which raises the question why was this the case? When you factor in the phenomenon known as ingroup bias and look at the decisions made that day, then I think it is safe to say that the officiating was bias towards Rangers. Now I cannot say it was deliberately bias as ingroup bias can happen on a sub-conscious level but I think the people who choose that team of officials is as much to blame as the officials themselves for the bias, perhaps even more so.

Where's Eds examples? I must've missed that.

{Ed007's Note - ......apart from the time Dougie McDonald and assistants got caught cheating and every time Kenny Clark speaks about deliberately denying John Hartson a penalty or what about Jim McCluskey openly telling anyone who would listen in a pub stating he would never give "That bastard Mahe" a penalty.....

Great post RodgersAtWork, SFA have been getting away with corruption for far too long. Really can't wait to run sevco off the park next derby. Here we go 10 in a row.

I don't get how our own supporters can't see that we've been shafted by SFA and referees for years and continue to be shafted even now. There's usually a blatant penalty/ offside goal that goes against us every game. The results usually paper over the cracks.

You forgot to mention allowing newco admission to the league despite the absence of three years audited accounts which I believe is mandatory for everyone else. Thought it was interesting that the Sevco game was called off on Friday whilst they had a friendly at the asbestos dome on Sat which allowed them to field their marquee signings which I would assume would help to inflate the attendance and generate much needed income to offset their current overspending.

Looks like Jabba done a runner as he knows he has been bested in the debate on whether or not there is a bias against Celtic in Scottish football.
