Hi Ed can you clarify if there is a limit on how many loans in a club can have at any one time or throughout a season?

Cheers.

{Ed007's Note - There's no limit with players from other F.As but that's all changing in season 20/21 to stop clubs like Chelsea and Man City stockpiling players and sending them out on loan. A recent FIFA report showed that one unnamed club had loaned out 146 players between 2011 and 2017.}

Ridiculous stats that ed. In 5 years celtic could be an unnamed club that's loaned IN 146 players if we keep up at this rate 🤣
Thanks for that ed 👍.

{Ed007's Note - I'm sure I read Chelsea have 30-40 out on loan either last season or this season.}

They have 41 on loan. 5 are goalkeepers.

Juventus are bad for it as well. Think a few seasons ago including co-owned players they had something like 64 players out at different clubs. This co-ownership is something that needs dealt with, gives teams an unfair advantage.

{Ed007's Note - It's not allowed in Italy anymore - since season 14/15 ended - and will eventually be banned altogether going with what Ed002 has said about it over the years. It's more a South American thing.}
