By the sounds of Brendan that might be our business done usual sound bites there won't be big money spent etc etc and how we develope players. 2 of them are on loan and we're developing for other clubs.

Most managers these days tend to rule out signing big name players during a transfer window.
In England, Arsenal, Spurs, and I believe Man City have said much the same thing.
I don't agree with Celtic's transfer policy in that I believe you sometimes have to look for players who actually will improve our team, sometimes that improvement needs to be immediate and not 2 or 3 years down the line.
Having said that though, Rodgers can't really say there will be a marquee signing as any such player would be wanted by other clubs who could knock us out of the water financially, then he would be crucified for breaking his word.
I would be happy with signing players who are better than we have, they don't have to be big names.

What big names would come to the SPFL? If the likes of Weah and Burke do well and enjoy being at the club what's to stop us making a bid for these players?

Celtic sign a player and the brainwashed support start going on about how much we will get for them. You buy players to win football games. Profit, money that's all you hear from our plc.

When was the last time we bought a player that went straight into first team Sinclair? . That will come back to bite us eventually.

The thing I find strange is BR said he felt it required these three attacking players to replace Dembele yet in about 4 months 2 of them will return to their parent clubs.

The price wb payed 15 mill for burke ad be very disappointed if 2mill is our only outlay we badly need a rb or a cb and we k ow the money's there because they told us.
