I appreciate that’s our model but we can’t fill the team with project players as they are hit and miss if they work out . We need to bring in a bit of experience to go alongside them, in my opinion a couple of experienced lads at the back wouldn’t hurt . Before people say Lustig is experienced, he is but unfortunately he’s looking slow and dodgy as the season has gone on. With two loans and a new forward for a couple of million I presume most fams would like to see some decent defenders come in. I know people will say we have 3 right backs, we do but none of them will push us to a better level.

If it was, I wasn’t suggesting you were a closet zombie, I was merely pointing out the difference in our signing policies and, as Malkybhoy correctly pointed out, it’s won us the last 7 trophies. Why would we then choose to adopt the policy of a club whose only success is the Petrofac cup?

If you read my original post I never had a thought on it. Was trying to start a wee debate. Every Celtic fan I know was saying we needed first team players. As to date we don't seem to have signed any, more cover and projects. Which is fine if we win the league, if we didnt.


My thoughts on it buying young development and move on has served us well. Very hard to compete with other countries finances. When was the last time we bought a player that went straight into first team Sinclair? That will come back and bite us eventually.
