So if we can tie up Weah and Boom Boom Bayo in next couple of days then offload Commper ( pay him off ) and Boyata ( for some sort of fee ) then go and get Kalas and the big Bosnian I'd be very happy with that.
We could then get a new keeper and RB in the summer and I reckon we would be looking not to bad at all 🍀💚 HH

Surely we have to offload Boyata now, he can't possibly stay till end of season if he signs a pre contract with anyone else?

Nah for me he has to go mate the summer shambles was enough but if his hearts not here how can we trust him to put his body on the line or risk himself getting injured if he’s got to make a tackle or challenge we need a RB I have not seen enough of Ralston to comment on him.

Totally agree.
I think Kalas and Memisevic are the types of players we should be signing.
Both playing at a good level and at the right age plus both are out of contract in the summer so wouldn't cost a fortune.

From what ed007 has said before we have been scouting Kalas and definitely interested and the Bosnian from Groningen Memisevic has stated himself that we had contacted home before but didn't offer a deal at that point.

I'd like to see us go with Ralston with Lustig as back up for remainder of the season, then brin a RB and keeper in the summer. Providing we we bring the 2 CB in this window.

We can all live in hope I suppose haha 🍀💚 HH.

If we can't punt Boyata then keep him in the stand until summer and play Ajer. Simunovic, Benkovic and even Bitton before him.
The guy wants out and will never give 100% again.

{Ed007's Note - I said the other day, tell Boyata and his agent if he doesn't get a move this window he will spend the next 5 months in the stand and training with the kids. It's time Rodgers and the board started playing hardball with the chancing bams!}

Nows not the time for playing hardball. There’s a league to be won. He was poor at ibrox but been good the rest of the season. If he signs a pre contract with another club then granted its not ideal but with the clauses for clean sheets etc in the players deals these days I’m sure he’ll still be giving 100% til the end of the season to get as much of a wage as possible.

{Ed007's Note - We've got Ajer, Benkovic and Simunovic to play at CB. planning for the future Ajer should start with Benkovic to watch and learn with Simunovic - who has done well with Benkovic - coming in as cover. And if we sign a CB this window should Boyata take his place next to Benkovic?
As part of the Long term planning for the team moving forward - over the next six months - is exactly the time to play hardball, players like Gordon, Lustig, Boyata and Brown who have no long term future should be dealt with before CL qualifiers.}

We might not like the idea of someone getting first team football who’s signed a pre-contract agreement with another club but I think BR might choose to play him and I think he’s got the man-management skills to get the most out of Boyata in that situation.
