Guess I am off my head because I really was starting to think we were just going to let this go without getting an explanation at the least But I really hope they go for more.

This reeks of a distraction effort. Possibly to divert attention from the fact very little reinforcementhas been lined up for the window other than a couple of ‘perhaps’ signings of unknowns.

As said above time to put energy into improving the squad instead of bleating about refs. The decision isn’t for going get overturned regardless, we’ve for years been given the brown end of the stick from the refs, why would it change now?

{Ed007's Note - 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

NaeBaws! Are you being serious?

Honest tae god, fans moan because they don't think the board was doing enough regarding this situation and when they do, So called fans are then saying that they are only doing because we won't sign anyone.

Give it a rest for god sake.

I can't see the benefit of making the statement at all: it can't compel any action, and is destined to be ignored. However, if they are going to make do so they should at least hire someone who can write sharply and think clearly.

{Ed007's Note - I think you're getting a bit confused between the Celtic statement and some letter that somebody wrote - you do know the Celtic statement will have been checked by the Club lawyers etc before publishing it?}

Bang on jonbhoy. This board really can't win no matter what they do.
The are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

{Ed007's Note - Classic, Kev!!

Hardly think it's a distraction away from transfer speculation.
There has been a groundswell of debate and comment since the referee report proved Beaton failed to do his job and intentionally favoured one side over another and even Sevco TV Sport showed the multiple assaults by Morelos in slow motion with the person looking on.
The statement from Celtic is well timed and totally justified and I hope the photos of Beaton celebrating in a Sevco Pub after the game is also a catalyst for his demise and one less bigot in black.

In this day and age if Christie did report him AM would end up on it after the courts dealt with him. Ryan won't have the cajones to do it tho! 😱.

I was going on the one on the official club website, Ed. If they want to publish something to that effect, I reckon there's 5 or 6 lads on here could make a better fist of it. There's certainly nothing in the statement to risk legal jeopardy. I guess my gripe is that it is as close to a non statement as I could be contrived.
