Do people still think we don't need broony or a player of his ilk outside of spl?

We need him period imo.

Could see game was screaming out for him after 5 minutes.
I have said it before he won't play every game but in certain ones he will be a must.

Absolutely Kev. Therevare games that need substance and ganes that need style. There will be plenty games where a player like Brown will be needed in the middle.

There is no substitute for experience and we are well short of it right through the spine of the team at present.
Obviously we have some very talented players, but Broony's leadership and example is still very important.

BR knows him more than most and he will have spoken to him about using him sparingly at certain times and the right games to play him.
I think he may move on at some point to ensure one last decent deal for his family's enjoyment and security, but I would love to see him on the coaching staff at Celtic Park, the same way NL was nurtured.

Rogic was struggling from the off a would have had broony on after 20 mins.

{Ed007's Note - Without injuries I doubt Rogic would have lasted the 90 mins last night bur fair-doos he is actually lasting 90 mins these days.}

Agree Kev Broonie had an impact on the game when introduced. We started keeping control of the ball a bit better and managed to string a few passes together. He still has it for me.

Correct ed he's looking fitter but last night he wasn't at it they were all over him from the off.

{Ed007's Note - Rogic doesn't do enough for me, when we're on top and running amok he shines out but when we need some hard graft he's always missing. Playing in that No.10 CAM role he's meant to be the main focal point and string puller of our attack and outside of the Scottish game he's simply not good enough for me and it causes problems in our entire attacking dynamic of the team.
I did notice last night - and pointed it out on the live chat - that Rogic would pass the ball and then just stop running, at one point he bust a gut to touch a ball to Lustig I think in our own half, then just stopped as if that was his part of the job done.
Gordon frustrates me because he's never been good enough for Celtic, we took a cheap option that has probably paid off but looking back what could have been with a better modern GK, Lustig and even Brown now to an extent frustrate me because age is catching up with them and they're not the players they were, Forrest frustrates me just because he's James Forrest and might be just be goig through his usual purple patch BUT Rogic frustrates me because he can and should be more effective but at times he just doesn't seem THAT interested. People talk about his lack of pace and if he had that burst of speed he wouldn't be at Celtic but pace isn't everything, his brain and body just don't seem to function as a unit at times.}

I think it was the way the team was set up that was the problem, they had studied it, and knew the best way, like a judo player used his opponents strengths against them, to put Celtic under pressure, I think Brown will still be able to do a job, but the midfield lacks something to take Celtic up a level, am talking about Rogic, we missed Boyata last night, (i mean Boyata, at his best) , so in the January Window, I hope we get a really classy right back, at least one outstanding centre back, and a creative midfielder, (I am not a fan of Rogic)

Scott Brown will play a lot of games because he is our captain and leader on the park and Brendan trusts him .
