Can't believe people were actually expecting more last night against RBL. Our injury list is huge and back up players nowhere near good enough! Average age 23 though so potential a couple may turn out to be Celtic players long term. Worried about January and losing boyata. Are we being linked with any new players?

The day I stop believing Celtic can't win is the day I chuck it. School boy defending cost us then we crumpled like a cheap suit.

I think those heavy defeats we suffered last season have scarred a lot of our players.
Apart from Anderlecht last season our away form in Europe has been poor for a while now. Nobody would expect us to do anything at PSG, Barcelona, or Bayern Munich, but we are now struggling at places like Rosenborg and AEK Athens.
I get the impression that a lot of our players dread these European games rather than relish them.
I think whoever we bring in in January, it's important that they are strong mentally and don't crumble when they come up against opposition that are better than we face domestically.

HappyHoppy,
Crumpled like a cheap suit?

We crumpled like your grannies tits in an ice bath.

Rodgers joined us in May 2016. He signed a four year deal in April 2017 and last night was his worst moment as a Celtic manager.

Nothing but the optimum strongest team against upstart tarts is tolerable.

I dread European games now. It's like watching the same dvd over and over again. You know we're going to give the ball away cheaply, you know we're going to lose sloppy goals, you know we're going to look lost. I'm totally sick of it. Let's just give it up this year and concentrate domestically. It's not as if we'll spend the money we get anyway.
