Is Celtic being given the lions share of ticket allocation for the Murrayfield Semi final?

With more season ticket holders than Hearts it's important these valuable people contributing to the Scottish game every week get priority over one timers showing from hearts.

So let me ask you a hypothetical question.

If Celtic made the Europa league final and played a team like Barcelona or Real you would be happy for Celtic to receive less tickets than them?

Would argue if you can't get a ticket through Celtic you're the glory Hunter.

Always amazes me the Celtic fans stamping their feet. When cup semi/ finals come about.

Don't know any diehards that won't get a ticket.

It's always been a gripe with me that fans who travel week in and week out to watch their team and who put money into the game have to miss their reward of a semi final or final ticket to make way for fans who in a lot of cases haven't been to a match that season.

A neutral venue should be to do with the playing side of things, it shouldn't mean that there should be a 50/50 split of thr tickets.
Aberdeen continually moan about their allocation for these games yet when they played their league cup final at Celtic park they were quite happy to have 40,000 fans there against 7,000 or so Inverness fans.
I wonder if Aberdeen were insisting on a 50/ 50 split for that match. I somehow doubt it.

Gerry caly were asked how many they would require and gave the answer of around 7000. Can't see how that applies here.

Kev the difference with a European final against Barcelona or Real Madrid is that both teams would have more fans than there would be tickets available. In that situation I don't think anyone would argue against a 50/ 50 split. Neither team would have once a year merchants and glory hunters denying fans from the other club a ticket.

In Scotland though teams that a lot of the time average about 10-15,000 per match demand double that for a semi or final.
If people can't be bothered to go to matches during the normal season then I don't think it's fair that they are given priority over fans who have spent a lot of money supporting their team in all weathers.
These occasions should be a reward for genuine fans that have put money into the game.

It should be 50/50, is the only fair, neutral way, if one side, or both sides, hasn't sold there allocation by a week before the game, the remaining tickets should go on open sale, with a bit of thought, the policing of it could Shirley be worked out.

Gerry if neither team would have people that don't attend games how do you explain how many Celtic fans that turned up in Seville?
At least 20 thousand more turned up than our stadium holds.

30,000 for Hearts,30,000 for us and 7,000 corporate tickets. The corporate tickets allocation is way to high for fatcats and hangers on from the business world. God knows where there's 30,000 Hearts fans! (Probably the person element of their fanbase) .

Now sevco v Aberdeen is a 60/40 split. If its a Celtic v Aberdeen cup final it will become a 50/50 split due to sporting integrity. Sfa happy to fill seats with sevco supporters yet last years semi v hibs they would rather there was 10,000 empty seats instead of giving them to Celtic fans, who have by far the most season ticket holders in the land.

So because I can’t make most of the games but happen to be ok to get a ticket for the semi final or final I shouldn't get one? So because there’s fans that can make every game it’s their right to get it? That’s what’s wrong with fans too many feel entitled.

Or what about fans who don't live in Scotland and can't get to every game. If I lived in Scotland I would be at every celtic game.

So fans that go every week have to miss out because someone who didn't can make the Cemi-final?

It always suprises me that people out with travelling distance can make it for Cemi-final/ finals. Never seem to make Kilmarnock away. Funny that 🤔🤔🤔🤔.

That will probably happen in long run Kenny but all teams getting to a final or semi final should have the right to take as many fans as they can.
Whether it be Clyde Arbroath Aberdeen Celtic or The Rangers.

Teams should be asked how much they can sell, then told they must sell section by section and if you haven't sold out by a certain day the other team gets offered them.

If the spfl and sfa put this in writing and made it clear this was how it was going to be done from now on it would stop a lot of moaning and greeting.

If you meet the criteria for a ticket from Celtic fair enough, but there are some supporters who only go to sevco, semis and cup finals and i don't know how they manage to get tickets for these matches. It must be from the sponsors who get way too many tickets for hampden and its the fans who go to the majority of the matches who miss out.

Hearts could sell easily 30,000 for Murray field but as some say our home attendance is usually 20,000. I would give u lot the other 37,000 but the corrupt SFA mob give 7,000 tickets to corporate - joke.

Kenny, I think we probably should get more but I’d also be agreeable to a 50/ 50 split if the same rules were applied to the other semi-final. How the SFA can justify their double standards is beyond me.
