As much as Brendan Rodgers has achieved in these last 2 seasons I think he has to take responsibility for our current form.
We seem to play the same way game after game and it is obviously not working, this is not just a blip as we had a lot of performances like this last season.
The manager has to find a way for us to get the best out of the players we have on our books, it might not be his ideal way of playing but you have to work with what you have.
The players to me look terrified of giving the ball away and resort to simple sideways and backward passes rather than take a bit of a risk and try to hurt opponents. We also don't seem to press teams as much as we did which let's them get into a comfortable situation where they keep us at arms length.
The transfer window has gone, it's pointless to keep going on about who we should have signed and whose fault it was for not getting the deals done. These players are what we have for the next 3 months, our season depends on them.
I hope Rodgers is big enough to see that these tactics need changing, let the players play in a way that they enjoy and I think the performances will start to improve.

Great post gerryc. I agree fully with u. It's all well and good bitching and moaning about transfers but as u said that's long gone. It's the managers job to play with the players he has. He is the one who plays Hendry, lustig who have been shocking and eddy, nitcham and rogic when off form. It's all well and good but BR is to blame. The puck stops with him simple.

I’ve heard some ridiculous statements but BR gone by the end of the season tops the lot. You could get a job with Sevco spouting nonsense like that.
