Very fustrating performance and result. they had a small team and their tallest player gets subbed after 73 mins. the first long ball into the box finds christie in acres of space. then in injury time boyata goes route one and again griftthis trying to play off the shoulder finds plenty of space. i feel we missed a trick there because they were all over the place with the high balls into the box. although edouard was quiet not all his fault, you never ever take off your main striker when looking for a goal, especially replacing him with someone who isn't really a striker. that's 5 transfer windows brendans had and we are practically playing with ronnies team still, who everyone now knows inside out. we are far too predictable. where as across the city 15 new players maybe unpredictable might go in their favour. the way i see it planning out will be similar to their 9 iar season when we took more points off the other 10 teams in the league but still lost the league due to losing 12 points out of 12 in our head to head meetings. in short i am a worried celtic fan but i still think we will get 8 iar. after all that, in brendan we trust. HH.

Broony, Forrest, Griffiths, Bitton, Lustig, Rogic and Izzy (first time around) were signed even before RD arrived, (as were the likes of KT and CM who were youth dev) , so there are quite a few 'old hands' still at the club including the Deila signings like Boyata, Gordon, Allen, Christie and Simunovic.
I know a few of the above do not play regularly, but they are still picking up wages and you can pick a full team from them.
It's certainly surprising that BR has not totally rebuilt a side in his own right and maybe part of the reason we are getting stale and predictable, but it has to be said that we have also signed some real flops in the last few years, even since the NL days and our most recent recruitment methods - or lack of them needs to be completely reviewed and improved.

Agree to a point once a bhoy, the team is looking a little predictable and it seems the way to restrict celtic is to pack the midfield and defence and ask us to break them down and we don't have the pace or trickery across the team to do it. Sinclair is at least direct and was so good first season as he was u known quantity, we don't seem to have that bit extra to open teams up.

Leon bhoy, You are a bit harsh on Brendan relying on Ronny 's players . First Brendan's strong point is motivating players to reach new levels .
Right up to the second last day of his fifth transfer window Brendan had the best striker since Larsson available and remember Brendan was the final reason why Dembele signed for us.
