It’s impossible to tell what SGs game plan was.

If they had kept a clean sheet, they would have ignored outnumber possession and shots off the bar etc. And hailed it as a masterclass.
If they had hit us on the break with a lucky goal a draw would have Been hailed as a victory

In my opinion teams who have success against us either pack the defence and see it out or
High press and stop us from having time on the ball leading to the silly mistakes

The danger is we normally find a way through a packed defence as we undoubtably have the superior quality or
If a team try’s the high press they generally don’t have the quality or stamina to maintain this tactic and we expose the space left at the best act and score

I think this i why we get found out in Europe as our possession tactics come up against the teams we have the skill and stamina to dominate us as we do at home.
WAtchning back some of the old Martin o Neil Seville era last night against Liverpool and the quality on display was much more even and we were dominating
I can’t see this happening now

As for Stevie G the pressure will soon build; one the hordes won’t stay faithful and he’ll realise that as a failed manager in the SPL he may never be a contender to replace klopp in the future.
Approximately around 10 IAR time.

Here we go.

even if we had won 10-0 it wouldn't have covered up the lack of backing for rodgers from the board.

SG was playing not to lose. I hope they try to come out and attack at the debt dome as it will leave us plenty space to run in behind the two big defenders that lack pace. If they try to play football they will lose. Kicking and diving and cheating is their best bet and they know it. It's a bit like playing motherwell except Motherwell play better football.

Jamesbhoy67 I would have thought we would have all been so pleased with our good performance against them, that we would be discussing Sunday's game and give transfer window a break for a few days .
We have two problems with transfers and both need to be addressed .
Someone is buying far too many players not fit to wear the shirt, these cost us a lot of money .
Board appear to be slow getting players in, board certainly backed Rodgers when they turned down £9 m for Boyata and thank God they did.

We never lost faith in the team. We lost faith in Lawell. For me that happened years ago. I knew we would do that pile of over hyped piss. we are still short of our own defenders and I think Boyata will be sold in January due to his contract being over. Benkovic talking about returning in January makes that window crucial. Left to Lawell, I have absolutely no faith in him sorting it. He’s the problem, not the team.

manager calls a summit meeting over the lack of success of attempts at getting his top targets in, is that not enough for you chris?

That's a joke, they have a meeting after every transfer window to discus how it went . Brendan mentioned meeting this year trying to take the high ground in front of the supporters, giving the impression that he has nothing to answer to, just the board and
PL to blame. I don't think it will be so simple and I don't expect any changes.

{Ed0333's Note - Brendan Rogers deflecting blame....so no change there then

B R and P L and D D, all three are probably equally to blame for the problems in our transfer windows . Our biggest problem is that none of them want to accept responsibility and all want to blame others.
