People telling others to stop reading the papers agenda it's not that bad. I've never bought a paper for years.

Celtics transfer activity was disgraceful. The whole player planning is totally bizarre. No forward planning. Seems we make it up as we go along. Is it the boards fault, Brendans recruitment or shopping in a market we can't afford.

Going forward their has to be some concrete planning in place. At present we have 9 players in the last year of their contract. 4 first teams and 5 fringe player and a loan player that will finish.

Doris no great loss. Goalkeeper postion not a priority.

Gamboa and Lustig would leave no RB. Priority postion
Boyata and Benkovic would leave us short on CH. Priority postion
Izzy ( thought he signed longer my information is from transfermarket) would leave no back up to Tierney. Mini Priority
Broony, Allan and Christie Broony at the moment is the back bone of the team. Priority other 2?
Forrest If he leaves would need replaced mini priority.
Forwards Brendan wants 3 so mini priority.

At the present we are the best team in Scotland but if this scatter approach continues. The other teams will close the gap even further.

January is notoriously difficult to get players in we have money and it needs spent. Or sadly the wheels on the 10 in a row bus are going to fly off.

The wheels are not going to fly off, we haven't even lost a starting xi player from last year, yano the team who won the treble again? Its not been a window of dreams but by reading half the posts on here you'd have thought we'd sold the entire team. We are still better than any team in Scotland by a mile and we'll see that tomorrow.

We all knew MD was leaving - but leaving it until the last minute, with no replacement lined up, is not ideal to say the least.
The good news is he was injured for much of the last two seasons and we still maintained our superiority with what we have.
My only real regret was missing out on McGinn, who was apparently more interested in cash than forcing his way into the Hoops team - playing European football - and winning trophies/ medals.
Apart from MD, we have held onto the double-treble team and added a few more squad players for cover during a 4 trophy campaign.
If anything, we have too many players at the club right now and once the dust of this window has settled and we play more like we did on Thursday against Suduva, we will forget all about Moose.

Malkybhoy

If I'm not happy at 2 tomorrow than neither will you. If that was your sad attempt to call me a hun. I can meet you at game tomorrow to discuss my Celtic credentials. Been going home and away from 1988.

The transfer issues at Celtic are real. Anyone wanting to sit and be a happy clapper fair enough. Not being negative just realistic. Like you I only want the best for Celtic HH☘☘☘☘.

The window has just closed . We discussed ins and outs to we were blue in the face for 3 months and got nothing right . Can we not give transfers a break? Do we have to discuss the next window needs at the longest possible point from the window .
We still have over 30 first team players on our books and that is more than enough . We probably need about 15 of these to play better and that is up to Brendan and coaches.
