Everybody needs to calm the F*** down. If I were to blame anybody for our difficulty in attracting quality signings it would be the Governing bodies. They massively undersell our game, to the point where English fans see us as a pub league. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes but I'll bet my house we had numerous enquiries turned down flat by players and agents.
We are what we are, a fantastic club with strong tradition and amazing fan base, stuck in a league that is not attractive to a players career move. One look at the wages a top player can command down South absolutely destroys any hope we've got of attracting them here. These players have no loyalty to the shirt anymore and cash is their motivation. There are exceptions. KT could have went anywhere this summer but he loves Celtic to the core. Yes, he'll probably be off eventually but when he wants to.
It always gets me down the way the media treat our league. It's a strong, competitive one that has shown up many an English team and player who thought they could stroll it.
Thank f*** that's the circus over for another year. Let's now get on with doing what we do best. Winning trophies.

We have to move on, the fans have to back the Team. Yes all of us wanted more signings (hands up I was wrong, I didn't think we'd sign anybody in the final week of the Transfer window) . Starting tomorrow let's put Sevco, their fans and most of all the Media in their place. I'm sick of all this crap that the tribute act is back. Normal service will resume tomorrow, keep the faith Bhoys and Ghirls.

Well said Rab probably one of the most sensible posts I’ve seen in weeks. Yes we can try n attract players to our great club, yes maybe not been best transfer window but in reality it’s what the league offers that’s the down fall in my opinion a lot of the time. No champions league just made it all the harder to get players.

Open your bloody eyes! we’ve brought in nearly 30 million in transfer fees this summer and apart from eddy spent f**k all! Rodgers says we need to replace Armstrong and paddy didn’t happen. said we need another striker if dembele goes, didn’t happen! Crying out for a right back, didn’t happen! This window has been a shambles and an embarrassment and whoever tries to somehow defend it or make exuses for needs to seriously have a word with themselves! And to top it off they Announce Benkovic at 11:35 last nite, after dembele left! Even though the guy had trained durin the day and the deal was done! This board and lawell in particular treat the fans with utter contempt and couldn’t give a toss what we think! Shambles embarrassment and incompetence, there’s 3 words for u! Aww aye and let’s hope at least one of our 2 strikers are injury free for tomorrow eh! JOKE!

Big Rab makes a good point and something I've been saying for a while. English Market is our closest and at present we can sell to them but can't buy from there with even the championship now out of reach.

With shared media outlets and the constant belittling of our game from our biggest market does make it difficult, take Burnley, Aberdeen could've knocked them out but no one from our league or association promote the positive, they just got knocked out n we have 2 teams through which is aother opportunity to promote but silence.

Saying that, could our issue be that congerton hasn't understood this correctly and his targets haven't been more 'creative'? No point shopping in the wrong markets so we need to look at up and coming players further a field. They certainly exist, see VVD, Victor, hooper, izzy, Ntcham, moussa (spit) , rogic, griff, Armstrong, the list goes on.

I was in car yesterday and listening to talksh*t.
They were saying that the "Old Firm Game" (I know but they are ignorant) is too big a game to be held in Scotland and should be played at Wembley. How fecking insulting and degrading is that not only to the Celtic/ sevco fans but to the Scottish Fans/ people as well. "It's the only real game that matters to people up there, they said. Needless to say OUR authorities will never comment on that (I have written to them demanding they raise it with the station) . They are probably too busy looking to see how much they can get in wee brown envelopes on the decision for Hampden v Murryfield.

It's a sore point how a world wide brand like Celtic has been tramped on by Sky to be honest because they have created this EPL monster, the championship play off being the richest game in football and teams getting 80million for failing. Adam Rooney left Aberdeen for Salford for christ sakes for more money. Better get used to guys like Dembele (showed his true colours) spitting out his dummy to get his way. No loyalty in football no more. That's why King Billy, Danny Mc grain, the maestro and recently Henrik, Broony and even KT are held in great esteem because they showed loyalty and personal wealth was secondary.
