After this window, we have serious work to do looking ahead . Next summer you would presume Ntcham will be off as it’s two years and Porto were sniffing this window. Benkovic will go back to Leicester and Boyata will probably be away on a free transfer. Hopefully we win the league again but that probably means we have to do the same thing what we needed to this window but with probably needing two centre backs, a forward and a centre midfielder. Loans are only giving us a bit of time, that’s all.

Since lawwell has been here we’ve won 23 trophies in 15 years. Including 11 titles out of 15 which has included a double treble in the last 2 season. 2 record breaking seasons in a row sounds like regression season by season.

I’m not disagreeing with you regarding our signing policy of young players, my point is come champions league qualifiers next summer we will go in again with Hendry, simo and Ajer . Probably Lustig ( a year slower ) unless we bring in players in January . But how can we bring another centre back in jan if we have Benkovic on loan, bring him in and say we will use him once he’s gone back to Leicester. My point is we can’t plan ahead with loan signings, although I think he’s a good player.
It’s unfortunate we couldn’t actually get him for a year instead of the season, that way he could play in the qualifiers, hopefully qualify with him then have cash to replace him. ( I know that is not done like that before I get jumped on 😉)

Yes we have won 23 trophy's in 15 years, the question is how many would that have been with a man at the helm who was in possession of a pair of balls. He’s a conman. A bonus focused, risk averse dithering cheapskate.

He will never change and as long as he is dithering about, believing his own press supported by happy clappers, he will go on.

I hate to say we told you so, but we fecking did. No ambition, no planning, no progress. But his bonus is safe

If that clown cashes a bonus cheque this year he should be called out to feckin explain how abject failure in his part can be rewarded.
