As much as I would have loved Mousa to have stayed I am pleased Celtic done the right thing for the player and the club If we were seen as a club to stop players dreams we would not attract ambitious players And I wish him all the best in his New club once a TIM always a TIM.

Unless a suitable replacement comes in, within the next 2 hours its 100% not in the best interest of the club. Id rather take a slightly lower deal in jan and promise MD he can go then, with our strikers injury record i can see us having spells of the season where either christie or sinclair will have to be our striker which just isn't good enough.

Agree Tony, wish they might have seen something so far fetched as a bid for the Moose and had a fella amend lined up . Shambolic window . Does the board want a strong ' Old firm ' ( I know they died )

I don’t see how Celtic have done the right thing here. Rodgers said himself “ no player has ever been given a time they can leave” so what’s dembele’s tweets all about then? I don’t care what anyone says, dembele signed the 4 year deal, respect the contract, respect the club, respect the fans. taking his moods to social media to force a move is pathetic.

Tony I couldn't disagree more. I am sick to the back teeth of signing young players who despite what the coaching staff do for them, show not the slightest interest in playing for our club as soon as the pound signs appear in front of them.
Instead of having the slightest bit of gratitude for helping them in their careers, these players would have you believe that they were being kept in some kind of slavery.
I think we have to try and move on from being a club who develop players for everyone else. If we invested properly in the squad we should be able to have players who have their best years here rather than just a training ground where other clubs to pick their talent from.
I can never understand why there is such a lack of ambition from the people at the top of our club, they continually fail to strengthen from a position of strength. These policies have seen us fail to qualify for the Champions league in 3 of the last 5 seasons, in any other business that would be seen as failure and the people at the top held to account.
I will always support my club, but the people running it are taking us for fools. They are more interested in their bonuses than growing us as a club. They are a disgrace.

If he went for £20 million, we have paid out about £3.5 million in transfer fee and wages. £16.5 million profit.
It was definitely the right thing to do and Boyata's bid from Fulham should have been accepted as well.

Gerry, it's simple, it's run as a business to make profit . As few a risks as possible ( big money signings ) and we've been out spent by our neighbours for 3rd time in a row . Imagine we did spend a little more than them every time with a rear made player for the first team and a very promising youngster rather than punts on spl pish.

Birminghambhoy I think it was more the negative damage that B R was afraid M D would bring to the squad . None of us know exactly what image M D was demonstrating and how troublesome he could become . We have to trust B R made the right call.
