Lustig got caught by the guys pace and let's him hook a ball in to the box. Ajer, who might have had his weight on the other foot to be fair,
lets it go. The runner moves off his man and is unmarked. Fine lines.

I thought we played okay, we flashed how many across the six yard line, and were pretty disciplined for the most part. But this is getting tedious, it's like the same European movie.

Optimistic noise being made but we are out. We do not have a defence who can defend a tie like this, there is no history of it.

Oh and by the way this will be KT's last season.

KT's last season? Think you might be right. Think Brendan will be off as well, maybe before the end of the season.

I think the positive is the boys know what hangs in the balance and that they’re really going to have to produce a good performance.

But yes with our awful away record I think it’s as good as over.

I still think Tierney will be here for a few more years. I know he can go on to bigger leagues with more money, but playing for Celtic is his dream and I don’t think he’ll give it up so easy.

Wouldn’t be shocked if it was Rodgers last season though.

Chances of us going through are slim - but there's still a chance?
We have a long history of costly defensive mistakes in European games but this was one lapse that seemed to knock the stuffing, confidence and imagination out of us.
Even when they went down to ten men, we couldn't take advantage and it's not the first time we have had most of the ball and passed from side to side only to see a misplaced pass or inaccurate cross and we rarely tested their goalkeeper with shots or set-pieces - I've been on here before about our failure to capitalize far too often from the vast amount we win in games.
If we do not progress? Yes, it could mean a big-name departure, but I would worry about our manager who after making first, the 'invincibles' then the untouchables domestically, has always advocated improvement and progress especially in Europe and it would seem he feels let down at this moment.
The Tyncastle game on Saturday could give the players a boost, or provide more doubt, depending on how the players react and there's no better place to shake off a disappointment and get back up on a Trojan Horse.

Our defence is always the weak link at euro level, lustig doesn't stop the cross and ajer is out of pos it's the poorest av seen the bhoy, but we have to put boyata in on Tues. Thought eddy was poor as well last night But possession play was good but didn't create much 2nd half.
