For me this window has been a complete shambles thus far. TRIFC have no doubt strengthened and if you think not just remember SG has been coaching the under 21/ 23s at Liverpool and will have seen the talent he has purchased play previously and will think they can do a job and improve them. All the while we have done nothing in the market. Last yr we weren't great and saw the challenge from the rest of the league intensify. There are 4/ 5 teams that could beat us on their day in spfl. We needed to move from a position of strength and push to the next level but feel we are stagnating and the tribute act will be much improved. We need a number of players personally a gk cb rb dm and cover in the centre would be priority.

Would anyone take Fraser forster back he isn't getting a game atm and is available on loan. Cud we get mangala from city he's 5/ 6th choice tho wages may be issue?

Where does anzari play and does anyone think he will walk into the team straight away?

We have money available to spend but feel the board are waiting til CL is done and know what we have coming in spend but feel we will get the usual penny pinching which we have seen in recent yrs continue.

You’re aware it’s the English window that closes in 2 days not ours?

This gives us a big advantage not having to compete with English teams. Yes it is frustrating having to wait so long but we’re not really short anywhere are we? We could do with another CM probably but we have McGregor who could drop back or Kouassi who could come in.

Yes we want improvements in certain areas, so why not wait til their window shuts and see if we can get a better quality of player in? We’re not really in a rush and I don’t think anyone we sign now will walk straight into the team.

Can't agree there campsie. Though he's hard a hard year I'd have forster over Gordon any day of the week.

Good point Andy but the transfer window lasts 2 months and we haven't signed anyone in the first month eddy excluded as was here previously despite cl qualifiers (nothing new) . We knew TRIFC would spend so why not make a statement and blow them outta the water with quality signings.
We may make some good signings once the deadline passes in England but do we really want players outside their own teams 25 squad players comin up here and expect them to improve us. Shows how lowly people rate the SPL (including our own fans) .

Celtic look way better than they did last year from what I have seen so far.

You say that on their day there are 5 SPFL teams that could beat us but I would counter that when we play to our full potential we will blow every team in Scotland away, whether they are on the top of their game or not.

Personally, I am happy that we have Edouard on a permanent deal and got Bain and Morgan in as well. Yes I would like to have saw a top CB signed by now and a right back to challenge Lustig.

However, I think we need to move players on before we buy anyone else or you run the risk of having a spiraling wage bill.

I understand that some people are feeling frustrated about lack of signings but think of it like this.

1. When the English market closes the price of players will drop, so we may get players that we can't currently afford and players may be more willing to sign for us because they know they can't get a move to England in this window.

2. We may be in negotiations with players and they have stated they will come if we have CL football.

3. We may be able to afford a certain standard of player just now but could get a better standard if we get CL football.

Lastly keep this in mind. The players Rangers have signed were not wanted or needed by their clubs so were easy to sign but the players we will be after will be harder to prize away from their clubs. As Rodgers said, we are after quality not quantity.

And by then we could be out of the CL! We should have signed players early and this nonsense about we only sign quality etc is p1sh. Look at some of our recent signings -Comper, hayes and even when Brown isn't fit Koussi doesn't get a game.

It’s his distribution that will let him down Kev, BR wants his keeper to be able to pass now before anyone jumps on here screaming about CGs passing I’m one of his worse critics I get the fear anytime the balls near him.
