Was properly evaluating our squad today and was considering the next 3 season's as well.

Gk- happy with Gordon and Bain ( but we do need a new number 1 in the next year or so)

RB - unless Ralston is the answer we need a new right back (this season we could get away with lustig, gamboa (if Brendan trusts him now) and Ralston) )

CB - everyine thinks we are short but I actually think we are ok here. Ajer is getting better and better and is only 20. Boyata also a very good cb. Now i come to jozo, the boys only 23 and he seems like he's 27, he's the same age as hendry who seems like a wee kid compared to jozo. Jozo and boyata were unstoppable 2 years ago and if we can keep jozo and boyata id be very happy playing those 3 at the back in our new formation) . This leaves hendry and lustig as other options. Yes we could do with a better cb and jozo is injured prone (and red card prone) but it could be ok this season with what we have. Next season we will definetly need another.

LB - doesn't need mentioned, wouldn't swap him for any other LB In world football ( only issue is if he gets a bad injury)

DMC- Broony and we have kouassi if needed.

CM - ntcham and Calmac and possibly mcginn- shouod see us to 10IAR.

RM - Forrest turning into a class act but would love paddy back. Think we do need another speical winger in

LM - Sinky (needs to recapture his form) , jonhston/ Morgan. Eddy can also play out here.

AM- Rogic and also calmac can play here. Could need to look at another no10. This one got me thinking. When all fit and flying how do we fit in broony ntcham calmac and rogic all into the starting 11? Good headache to have.

CF- moussa eddy griff (unbelivable) this got me thinking about moussa and his hamstrings. It's clear to see the lad has slammed on the muscle, look how thin he is in first 5-1 game compared to now, wonder if this extra beef is causing these issues.

Son we have ajer and kt who are 20 and 21. Need a future rb and probably another cb at some point. Ntcham is 22 kouassi mcginn are young and Calmac and rogic 25. If we can make a player out of Johnston or Morgan and add another young winger and we have moussa 22 and eddy 20 we are ready for 10 in a row only need 2 or 3 positions.

That's why I'm not too stressed about this transfer window. Let's see if any of our players leave before English window closes then I'm sure we will make our moves after that.

Stopped reading at Boyata is an excellent Cb and saying him and Jozo were unstoppable 2 years ago.

Boyata wasn’t playing for us 2 years ago until like February. I don’t think he played in the champions league at all. We had Toure there remember.

Your saying if fit ajer jozo boyata wouldn't be an excellent back 3? You know they are all very good defenders. To slag of boyata because of a couple of mistakes is poor, he is our only threat from corners (on corners btw. wtf, I assume we have zero training sessions on corners) .

You do know it's the manager himself that wants players in. i could understand fans slaughtering other fans if the manager had came out and said, the squad is fine and it will see us through this season.

But he hasn't. he has said he even he thought there would be more players in.
We as fans can argue the toss all day long but BR wants better players brought in and that's what really counts.

Yeah we need a winger and a rb and possibly a cb. But if we keep squad and add mcginn and get 2 of the above we are in a really strong postion. You are right about BR coming out and saying he wanted more in by now, not great. Last season he kept saying the club are working very hard to get a player in and it eventually turned out to be ntcham. Not hearing same noises from Brendan this window. But we have a good squad there and brining in quality is getting harder for us. There must be another French wonderkid out there we can develop.

Boyata is terrible simple as that. I don’t care how good a defender is at attacking corners.

I’d prefer he could just defend tbh. He is Ambrose standard.

As I said we defended better in Rodgers first year when he was not in the side.

He is also not young at all and has played very few professional games for a player his age. Spent far too long collecting a wage at reserve level at Man City and it ruined his development.
