Usually I would agree with you jonbhoy but as half decent centre halfs seem to be thin on the ground I think on this occasion we should give him a second chance.

Thought denayer was too small at the time and lucky to be alongside big VVD. Would rather we looked at new options if need be but when boyata and simu are back, I reckon one of them will be partnering Ajer with Hendry keeping them on their toes. We're not as light as people are making out.

If Boyata leaves and with big Simu being to injury prone I still in the opinion that we need another centre half.

Denayer will never be a top CB. I could see him ending up a RB in the long run of his career.
I would sign him if the price is right though as he is a better option than Compper. But I also think we won't sign a CB untill one leaves.

QI would be loath to sign Denayer as I don't think he has found what makes Celtic tick and makes players love playing with us
If he happens to sign for us, mit would be through desperation, him needing a club and afraid there is no demand for him.
