Hi guys hope everybody is well and get well soon Timbo and others.
Soz guys/ ed but this might be a long one cos I am raging and can't believe its not been brought up yet.
WE and many other teams have a very important game tonight indeed arguably our most important of the season simply cos if u don't go through there aren't any more important ones (CL) .

Why am I raging u ask. well there is a wee tournament going on as well u might have noticed called the World cup so how in hell can there be CL qualifiers whilst this goes on?

We lose Lustig, Boyata etc and im sure there are many other teams losing players due to this.

It used to be you lost a player or 2 due to giving them some rest etc but now both tournaments are running at the same time wtf.

When is it going to stop it simply cannot be right, let me ask u this if Real, Bayern, Barcelona etc were losing players in the CL due to the World cup there would be hell to pay they wouldn't stand for it.

Ive stated before I am a big fan of Lawwell but he needs to stand up to UEFA and tell them its totally unacceptable.

Mibi join up with other teams and fight it, take it to court whatever needs to be done cos its just not right.

If I had said 10 years ago we would be playing a CL qualifier during a world cup u would think I was off my head lol.
Whats your thoughts guys?

I agree with you but Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern would NEVER find themselves in that situation as they are literally straight into the Champions League barring a minor miracle of them finishing lower than 4th in their respective leagues. As this will never happen to the Big Boys then UEFA won’t give a stuff.

Don’t worry we are earning £6500 a day for Boyata being at the World Cup so the £300k we earn for him being away will cover the £30 million we could lose by him not being in our defence for the first few qualifiers. These qualifiers are too important for us to be missing 3 of our regular starters (Rogic, Lustig and Boyata) without suitable replacements.

As a club we are World renowned, but we are based in a footballing backwater where our domestic opponents 'fortnight breaks' in Europe each year make us a footballing joke and obliterate our coefficient.
Wherein we have no clout or influence and probably little support or sympathy due to the state of our national league thanks to many years of corruption, lack of integrity and incompetence.
Obviously the whole situation stinks to high heaven, where repeat champions with sole European pedigree have to play 4 qualifiers and I wonder if our Association would be so mute if it wasn't Celtic?
