I was just pondering as you do on a glorious Sunday morning. Kieran wanted by everyone bids starting at £25 m. I assume that just the starter. I can't see him going anywhere soon as he just lives and breaths celtic and when he does go it will be his choice. His work pal paddy must be thinking what if? Kieran will have his pick of top teams, paddy will struggle to get championship teams. I think if paddy came back he could e have more of a choice.

We should just knock back everything less than 45m imo. that's what the going rate is in the EPL for even a half decent one. We don't need to sell so if we do they pay the going rate. Thankfully it seems we no longer entertain the cheeky bids they throw in for our top players.

I’d hate to see kt leave but the rumours of a bid are getting stronger and I’d personally be surprised if the club turned down 25-30 million . This would then leave it under immense pressure to make a decision. Personally I’m more worried now than I was last season when a few clubs were sniffing around . I would personally prefer the club to come out and say we don’t need to sell, he’s just signed a long term contract and we are both happy. Unfortunately they didn’t do much to deter the rumours.

As much as KT loves our club - and we love him; if the purse-holders decide to accept a bid for him, it basically tells him that Celtic prefer money in the bank to building a successful, talented team and it leaves the player feeling unwanted by his employer.
I would much prefer a proactive statement of intent from PL or BR saying he is not for sale at any price and let him enjoy his dream job in the hoops - until he, himself decides he needs a change.

Danny Tose is up for sale at £40mill so KT at £30mill is not out of the ball park. If we get offered that type of money Celtic will sell. Just depends if we use the money to reinvest. We have some cracking players worth a lot of money but we need to kerp them and qualify for CL but i can see a deal for KT being allowed to go after the CL qualifiers.
