Anybody following the guys on loan?

Christie - Should be given a season at Celtic next year and if it doesn't work out let him move on.

Allan - Hibs seems a good fit for him should make his move perm.

Benyu - hasn't started since Jan for Oldham, was he injured?

Sviachenko - Seems to be playing well but i feel his time is up at Celtic.

Ralston - has jumped on the dundee utd ship who have been a bit like the titanic but he is getting minutes under his belt.

Hazard - 5 cleansheets in 12 appearances, looks to have a big future ahead of him.

Morgan - been on fire in championship hopefully hit the ground running in pre season.

Ciftci - no comment.

I’d keep Christie, Sviatchenko and Ralston out of that group. Ralston was knocked off his stride by injuries so deserves more time and Sviatchenko, even as back up, is a better option than Boyata and possibly Jozo too.

I have watched McGinn against us and honestly, can't see what all the fuss is about. He would not get a game before any of the current midfield players yesterday - or Armstrong and if Rogic and Armstrong do leave, I think he would have to step up a level or two to appreciate what is expected at Celtic - as opposed to others.

We need to be careful who we let go or sell. Two Celtic players were amongst the best players on the field yesterday . Ambrose and Mc Geoch .
Although I noticed Ambrose wasn't even Booked yesterday when he jumped two footed into one of ours, if he had been wearing a Celtic shirt, he would have been gone .
Mc Clean also did the dirt re time . 5 subs 2.mins 30 sec . Injury to two Hibs players and waiting almost a min to get sub on 3 mins in total . Another injury 1 min . When 5 mins added sign went up Mc Ginn went down injured . Hibs didn't send anyone on as he would have had to step off pitch . He was down 55 secs and ref played 5 secs over 5 mins . Mc Clean didn't cost us the match, but he wasn't fair or impartial.

My opinion is we'll regret not talk g mcginn he's strong as an ox can pass can score and has a great engine and he's now an international which gives him more worth . hope this doesn't come back to haunt us.

{Ed007's Note - That's twice this season that McGinn has totally bossed our midfield, once at home without Brown and yesterday with Brown in there and he also put in a great shift and held his own in the 2-2 draw at Easter Road too.
If the Club and Rodgers are serious about buying the best young Scottish players it would be a huge mistake to not at least try to sign McGinn. He's already a better player than Brown was at the same age, he's an ideal replacement for Armstrong and the lad would walk to Celtic Park to sign for us.}

{Ed007's Note - It's a no brainer for me and I'd be surprised if the fee would be anywhere near the reported £5 million that Hibs are said to be looking for - not for a player going into the last year of his contract. £3 million and getting Scott Allan off the books as part of any deal for McGinn would be a win-win for us.}

kevbhoy what planet are you living on? to suggest erik is better than jozo and boyata is total madness! jozo and boyata are our best central defence pairing and brendan knows it too. The real problem in our defence is jack hendry who is totally out of his depth and a total liability. All you so called fans hound boyata but he was solid against rangers in cup and is miles better than hendry who is just a dundee standard player nothing more open your bloody eyes.

So people are so called fans because they can see what even Stevie wonder can, and that’s boyata is atrocious! By far one of the worse defenders I’ve witnessed at celtic Park! And the reason he looked solid against sevco is because they didn’t attack us! Hibs had more chances in the first 5 min than thst mob had in the first hour! Boyata and jozo for that matter are dreadful defenders, and that’s me being kind! Not saying Eric is the answer, but he didn’t make anywhere near the mistakes these 2 make, especially boyata! And if Brendan knows that jozo and boyata are our best pairing then why hasn’t he paired them since jozo got sent off at the crumble dome! Think it’s u that needs his eyes open pal! Anyone who can defend boyata, and make any sort of case for him being anywhere near good enough for us needs there head examined! The guy makes me wish ambrose was still with us! Like I said earlier, my fingers and crossed that he leaves in the summer! If anyone is daft enough to take him!

I've always said Boyata is like the litte brother of Ambrose. His system goes into shock when he receives the ball in tight areas and I believe both rangers chances were players running off Boyata inside the box. It's no coincidence that whenever the other teams have a chance the camera always shows Boyata after it. He is shocking.

Couldn’t agree more mate! Did u see him late on in the 2nd half against Hibs when the boy ran at him and he literally just fell on his face! This isn’t me just picking a player out for dogs abuse for the sake of it by the way! This has been going on since he joined us! Remember at Hampden against the tribute act when Ronnie was still here, he had to be subbed because he was traumatised! Against that Shoite tae! It’s mistake after mistake with this guy and he needs to go! The scary thing about it is he thinks he’s a player! A Celtic team with boyata in it is a team that will always struggle when put under any sort of pressure, simple as that!

We need two CB’s and a right back who aren’t projects or just not good enough. When will the club see what everyone else can. We give teams a chance because our central defence is farcical too often.

I think Lustig has struggled as time catches up with him. So another RB is a must, I’m not at all convinced by young Ralston but he should get a chance in games to come on for whoever we get as first choice and if he’s as good as some on here think he will make it his own. We can’t just hope he will. We need a top right back first.

The absolute horsing’s in the CL and recent performance by our defence must show Brendan he needs to buy better.

Hendry is no better than what we already have and all of them are nowhere near what we actually need. That’s just a fact that is reinforced with every single game we play.

All the loaned out players except possibly Ralston, should be left out on loan or sold if anyone wants them .

I hope Brendan doesn't sign a black centre half or he will have no chance.
