Ed, can you see more signings than Musonda coming in or you think that will be it? can't see any outfoing other than possibly Simunovic.

{Ed007's Note - Celtic will make a further bid for Hendry but I'd imagine a GK will now be top priority. Simunovic's agent is still hoping to get a move fixed up for him with England his preferred destination.}

Whats your view of Hendry? Do you think he's good enough to cope in the CL?

{Ed007's Note - That'll be a big ask for him just now, MP but in a couple of years I don't see why not. He's more than capable of playing for us at domestic level so it'll be a case if he can kick-on and progress to the level Rodgers and his staff think he can.}

I have my doubts he could step into that environment right away. The problem for me with that assessment is he is in effect another project and doesn't solve our right now problem in that position. Commpare, being cup tied doesn't help us against Zenit.

I will be dissapointed if we don't get in a CB who can step into the team with Simo, if he stays for that. I don't have a problem with projects, we need to go that way, but we are in the last 32 of a tournament and we need cover of the calibre to deal with that now. Not in 18 month time.

Hopefully Rogers has a similar view of the present and has the board working on another guy who has what it takes right now, otherwise we make an already difficult tie harder by not recognising that what we currently have can't cut the CL level teams. If we get a RB, new goalie and a centre half as well as Charlie, I will probably pass out.

We need to give ourselves as much a chance as possible. Hendry for me isn't the guy right now. We might be doing the boy a disservice but what I have seen of him doesn't make me think that's the problem sorted.
