Good result today firstly, secondly the injuries to Griffith's and Gordon added to our injury list, for me this transfer window has just got significantly interesting. Dembele's certainly not match fit/ possibly not interested looking. Edouard for me isn't the answer and with Griffith's potentially out for a few weeks at least, up top could be a worry for the zenit game. Gordon for me could be replaced but everyone knows January isn't the best for transfers but we definitely need someone in in that position as Rodgers clearly sees Gordon as his no1. Not to mention young hazard has just gone out on loan. Next few days should be rather interesting. The one position now that is critical is the goalkeeper, in the past we've been linked with bain from dundee. I'm not saying he's my choice but with very few days left to do business what do u guys reckon?

Don't like to see anyone get injured but this is now an opportunity to go out and get someone not just short term but someone who can make the No 1 position their own next season. Hopefully BR has had his eye on someone and we can get something done.

I'd take boruc in a heartbeat, even if it's just till the summer then go get a real good no1. What worries me is i don't think Rodgers would've been looking at getting a keeper right now so the chances of us signing a solid outstanding no1 this window i feel is highly unlikely.

I think Brendan's going to go with devries as number1 and sign a back up to him so don't expect too high a grade keeper to be honest. Add to that were inside the last week and are struggling to recruit so what chance is there buying a rated number 1 keeper without much emphasis having been placed on it this transfer window?

Have any of you actually watch boruc lately? He's past it.
We need to go get a keeper that's going to make the position his own for next few years.

Like Jim says we will struggle to get our new number 1 with 4 days to go in this window so we will have to do with a short term replacement on loan.

One point, could we actually sign someone on an “emergency loan” after the deadline due to the circumstances?
