First of all I want to say well done to Partick Thistle and their manager Alan Archibald, he got his tactics right and his players worked their socks off, which made it difficult for the Cletic players to find any space.
In saying that our players kept going forward and in the second half over ran a plucky Thistle team. The negatives were first half, our lack of pace and slow across the park passing. Lustig, to me is finished, I said so a month ago and sadly, last night just proved my point. Boyata too is borderline also, his passing is atrocious. I have to say also, why is McGregor still getting a game, he has been poor most of the season. The boy Eduard is NOT a £7m player, he lacks a finish, is not strong enough and does not influence games the way Griffiths or a fully focused Dembele does.
Wee Griffiths turned the game with his movement and also Brendan's tactical changes.

I agree with Mcgregor comment he has a great turn of the ball but after that he provides nothing. He was completely missing in the first half. With Ntcham coming on to a game I can't wait to see him with rogic in front of him. I think the turn of pace from Ntcham and his slick passing along with Rogics creativity could be what we're missing atm.

Tim edoard is a forward and can't run with the ball is not physical doesn't look pacy hardly scores but Brendan says he was outstanding last night. and before anyone jumps on this i know he's not going to publicly slate the boy but outstanding no way and 7mill aye right.

I'm not saying Edouards worth 7mil, but he certainly isn't as bad as people make out.

he also isn't slow at all lol, but as a lone striker he's been asked to hold the ball up. I think he has been a bit eager to impress. took a few pot shots from tight situations rather than pass.

but the guys 20 years old, same as Ajer getting abuse at 19. It's not their fault they are in the development stage of their career and are in our first team.

That would be the board for not having acquired better players. Guys at 19 and 20 aren't going to play and not have a bad day, or make mistakes.

It's different with the likes of Boyata who is 27 and won't improve much on his current ability.

{Ed007's Note - I've said for years that our support don't give young players a chance, one misplaced pass or a mistake is immediately pounced on and suddenly they're not good enough blah blah blah. It's strange that none of KT's mistakes are ever highlighted by the same people who seem to thrive on moaning and bashing our youngsters.}

Tesla a go to games and never slate the players but my opinion of edouard up to now is that I don't fancy him hope the boy proves me wrong tho.

Aye Mally that's fair enough. I was just pointing out that I find it unfair criticising players at the development stage of their career.

Ideally guys like Ajer would be on our bench and working his way in, but as I said it's the board who fail to have us with more experienced developed players.

Likewise when Rodgers says he wants quality and doesn't get it, again will be the boards issue.

Yet they escape all the blame, instead young 19-20 year olds get abuse for not being the next Lubo.

All we hear is balanced books, small profit better than going bust. "they" went bust due to tax dodging, not due to spending a bit. Also I could do Lawwells job, hardly spend money and make profit at Celtic and win a terribly weak SPL.

Easiest job on the planet lol.

No argument from me tesla regarding not signing top players pl needs to get the finger out as there's less than a week to go. On our own young players av praised young ajer plenty of times but last night he was average and as av said av seen edouard in nearly every game and he's not a patch on griff or dembelle.

The lads only 19 and a raw talent who will get better the more he plays. You don't turn into a "Henrik" or "Lubo" after a few games. Far too many expect so much in so little time. The moans ring out after a few missed placed passes. Some need to get a grip. After a few bad games some are already wanting Lustig binned. Supporters?

Dembelle came to us as a 20year old and was outstanding . Tierney is 19 and is outstanding
lustig has been struggling all season it's called an opinion that's what the sites for pud.

It's all perspective really. Like even Craig Gordon (who i think we really need better than) I respect. He was injured for a long long time and should really have been finished.

He came back as a cheap option for us after Forster got sold. He has served us well.

However he was meant as a stop gap and It's not Gordons fault we haven't brought in better competition.

Likewise with the youngsters, the board need took to task as the budget net they are casting is far too small.

Nobody is saying spend 100 mil, but we can probably spend double what we do now on fees and wages and comfortably.

I'm just hoping it's a master plan and not penny pinching haha.

I think if you remember correctly Mally Dembele was far from outstanding when he first came. in fact took quite a few games to get into the groove and an new firm hatrick before some gave him a bit of slack.
