I'm sorry I don't think Ajer is what we need. I hear he's only a kid but so is Tierney who has spunk and battle. I hope I'm wrong but he needs to be brave and cocky. Mcgregor is starting to hid in games when we're not on top. Griffiths is class.

100% agree re Ajer. Said it on here after Sevco game, too soft, too slow in the turn and if he plays against Zenit he will get destroyed. Griff has to start from now on surely? And although Jozo can be ropey, when fit he is still better than the two who played tonight. Hurry back PR and TR.

Ajer is a talented player and would like to see him play in front of a back four. Like the lòok of him when he strides forward but seems to lack positinoal sense when played at the back. P. S Lustig is struggling, needs dropped to sort himself out, I believe he has personal problems and think It's showing in his performances.

I think Lustigs legs have gone. Severely lacking pace and is often caught on the turn or giving possession away cheaply. I think we should attempt to sell him in the summer before he is in the last 12 months of his deal.

Ajer gave away a few balls and went and won most of them back. Criticism here of a 19 year old who only moved to CB last year is ridiculous.

Apart from Jozo, he is our best CB.

I like the way Ajer drives forward with the ball, and think your being a bit unfair on him as boyata got caught out few times too.
I hate the way we pass about the back 4 ends up getting us into bother, and really slows everything down, 2nd half improved with the changes and forward quick passing, jozo and Griffiths must start on Saturday.

I can only hope Compper is some player as again last night our defence was poor. We gave thistle numerous chances and against better quality opposition ( like Zenit or any European team left in they will take the chances) . It seems Brendan is just looking for a creative player this window now but surely he can see we aren’t good enough at the back.

Ajer played well last night, liked watching him bring the ball out from the back with confidence in the second half, partick struggled to keep up with him when he built momentum and broke onto his stride. Bit ropey first half but he's learning every game.

I think he's not the quickest on the turn when up against a really quick forward but strong in the air and confident on the ball. He's some height so he'll never be lightning quick.

Seemed to do better when Jozo came on in the centre of the 3 and ajer went to left of the 3 but I agree we need better CBS.
