Had a couple days to digest Tuesday’s result and performance. We were abysmal on Tuesday, yes we done the job in the away fixture vs Anderlecht but it was a chance for us to get a home victory and finish the group on a high but we failed to show up and turned out an embarrassing performance in Europe yet again.
Why did Rodgers abandon his philosophy of playing attacking football against Anderlecht at home but wanted to go toe to toe with PSG away? It’s impossible to understand.

We have been transformed domestically but under BR we have been very poor in Europe however I recognise we have been up against some great teams in Man City, Bayern, PSG, Barcelona etc. But we used to be so much more competitive especially at home.

The big question for me is simply why did we not improve our squad in the transfer market? We went into this new CL campaign with Jonny Hayes, Kundai Benyu and Odsonne Edouard. Ntcham is the only signing that is of value at that level. I really hope we go all out in this January window and give new players (RB, CB and Winger hopefully) time to settle in before CL qualifiers in summer.

BR still has a big task on his hands!

I see we have been linked with youngster from St Mirren I think we need more experience in the squad I think we are too young need an experienced campaigner in there to help out in there.
