Ed007,
I think we got away with that one! Was fearing a partial Stadium closure.
But it could be worse by not being in The League Cup Final😜😜.

{Ed007's Note - Why were you fearing a partial stadium closure, because the press and idiot TRIFC supporters were hoping so? It was never going to happen, in fact I think from now the rest of the Scottish clubs who are earning money from living off our coat tails should chip in and pay any fines we get from their UEFA solidarity money. Why should they get any money for being shite?}

It's time that Celtic sue people that do this.
They should put it in the terms and conditions that if you invade the pitch and cost the club any money in fines the club will sue to recoupe the money.

{Ed007's Note - Who would you sue to cover the costs of fines Celtic have brought on us themselves or things players do that get us fined? I'm sure that any single Celtic supporter the Club tried to sue would have no problem funding the financial help to fight his case - which he would 100% certainly win.
The Club's own heavy handed approach towards the support by police and stewards has brought us a few fines as well, why are they continuing that without caring about fines from UEFA?
Look through the UEFA disciplinary hearings and you'll see how petty and stupid most of them are, Man Utd received TWELVE notifications on their way to winning the EL last year, that's 12 in one season but you don't see fans or the press whinging about stadium closures and paltry fines. UEFA will only close stadiums for severe trouble or racist behaviour, PSG were also fined 40,000 Euros for pyro at their Bayern Munich game.*
After the recent EL group stage match between FC Koln and FK Crvena zvezda:

Charges against 1. FC Koln:

• Insufficient organisation: lack of searching - Art. 33 of UEFA Safety and Security Regulations
• Throwing of objects - Art. 16 (2) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR)
• Stairways blocked - Art. 38 of UEFA Safety and Security Regulations
• Setting off of fireworks - Art. 16 (2) of DR

Decision:

The CEDB has decided:
- to fine FC Köln 30,000 Euros.
- to warn FC Köln for the insufficient organization.

It's all poncy fines for minor offences that UEFA dish out willy nilly to boost their coffers, unless there's serious violence or a racism problem UEFA don't really care that much, other clubs and fans just see it as part and parcel of being in UEFA competition.
