Looks like missus picked the wrong weekend for surprise trip to Nou Camp, got to admit, fans were really good natured about game getting called off. Very well received in my Celtic top too, good laugh even though we didn't get to see any football.

Davie- sorry you missed the Nou Camp. I think any Celtic fan would be amazed to see it. You have a very considerate wife: mabruk!

Maybe this was really the perfect time to visit tho! To be part of this moment in catalonya. What despicable behaviour from the cops tho; I hope we'll respond to this. Or rather, I hope and trust the green will respond to this.

Cops were only thug element in town, honestly saw no aggressive behaviour from any citizens. Whole thing has become a hilarious calamity though. Flight yesterday cancelled (well airline liquidated) and now a general strike today. Memorable weekend, straight into work today from half 7 flight-ooft!

{Ed001's Note - the Guardia Civil are vile mate. Local cops are lovely in Spain, really nice and helpful, but Guardia Civil are animals. They still think they are working for Franco.}

Totally agree Ed, it was the Guardia Civil who were particularly nasty but local coppers were ending in a fair bit too. Was mental but memorable, will def be back to Nou Camp for a game. Tour was brilliant too, have always been very proud of Celtic Park but that place was another level.

Davie were the local cops not defending the catalans fae the Spanish polis? A definitely seen one clip where the catalonian polis were standing in front of a group of locals guarding them and a few of them were in tears.

I think that was the firemen man. I have heard a few friends in Barcelona taking defence of local coppers but I didn't see any of that. Mostly was Guardia Civil but saw some locals also involved.
