Excellent response today and good to see dembele back. Hopefilly he can stay fit.
Anyways, I see Rogers has been quoted saying "rangers have spent more than us and we are a CL club" in the press.
Is that another dig at the board for failing to back him In the transfer window.
I think it's clear recently that Rodgers isn't happy and maybe he feels the board have made false claims about financial backing.
I don't blame Rodgers in the slightest for feeling let down.
If lawwell and Desmond don't want to invest to take the club to the next level then why don't they put the club's interest at heart and look for someone who wants to take it forward. They're making too much money by rooking the fans every season. that's why.

Isnt this the same guy who said - no disrespect to the spfl but we can't have 3 top strikers here. and he and assistant were saying how difficult it was to sign players.

I saw them in interviews on tv saying these things - if the above is just reported in a paper I don't believe it,

I don't think it's any dig at the board as he doesn't strike me as that type of person, think it's a bit of mind games, top managers play, like when O'Neill said that rangers were the benchmark, or Pedro said they have the best squad in Scotland 😂😂.

Isn't it a response to the clown McManus saying we should have a cap on our spending. or the other idiots who suggested a while back we shouldn't be allowed in europe as the money we make is unfair on the other all clubs and all others who hate us being successful . i also hope it was directed towards the board to show he won't be walked over and shortchanged like all previous managers had to suffer.

Could be a clever wee rib poke at the Scottish media? They have been partial to the odd propaganda cash flow story. Every sev player that has come in and went has had a few quid added here and there. Bloggers first hilighted it closely followed by a few clubs/ managers making statements echoing the previous. Since they don't publish account's (really) it's hard to be sure how much they have spent isn't it? 😅.

Maybe he was being sarcastic, coz other than the smsm and the deluded zombies, who actually believes sevco spent £9m odds on players! Or it could be a dig at sevco IF they have spent that amount but yet they are still rubbish lol.
