It appears going by sky we have completed the loan signing of odsonne edouard good stuff a centre half now would be grand? I see they dug out the guy from sky who's teeth and hair are the same as his second name rhymes which sh##e lol.

According to the reporter on sky there will be no centre half coming in. Very disappointed in that if it is indeed the case. We've done well this window with our signings and keeping the squad together but a solid centre half would've topped it off.

Brilliant piece of business by Celtic if the deal being reported is accurate.

According to what I have read we have got him on a season long loan deal and have option to buy at end of loan for around £9 million.

So this gives us the benefits of his services for a year, as well as allowing player to prove himself and Brendan to get a closer look. If he does the damage we have option to buy.

Now say we sell Moussa Dembele next season for upwards of £20 million, then we may have his replacement for a fraction of the selling price already lined up, which means we won't have to deal with clubs inflating asking price to get a replacement.

Smart move from Celtic.

How does the fee work gents. Assuming it is £9m at the moment can that change based on performances, I mean if he has a great season and scores loads of goals can it go above the £9m, also i take it we will have 1st option to buy.

{Ed007's Note - It will be a set fee buddy. My reckoning is that Celtic will be hoping Edouard will be a hit on the field and with the fans so that if/when they sign him it eases the Dembele exit next summer.}
