Delighted that Paddy is back in the hoops but have to admit I'm completely underwhelmed that it's a loan deal. Cannot understand why it has taken so long to conclude. Also wouldn't surprise me if that was the end of the transfer business for this window. Clearly need another CH and striker but imagine it will be "We we're close to a couple of deals but couldn't get them over the line" deja vu with this board. Go on prove me wrong, I dare ya!

Ntcham 4.5 plus wages, Hayes - cover for GMS and Commons leaving, Benyu - raw prospect Armstrong extension and now Paddy who won't be cheap nobody of note has left we are in champions league and still undefeated. While I agree we need a striker and wouldn't mind a Centre Half the manager wants a right squad don't think we have too much to moan about. We won't get a better keeper than Gordon for money we can afford!

I've always liked Adrian from West Ham whose been pushed out by joe hart. Or Danny ward from Liverpool as an alternative to CG.

Forster cost 2 million, Boruc was £600k there is 2 examples that a far better keeper is available for decent money.

Dragowski at Fiorentina would be a good choice and won't cost a fortune.

Kev T as good as FF was do u think he could play the way BR wants?
He was good but no so great with his feet, I also remember loads of posts on here slating him for not coming for crosses.
CG gets it on here but there is no way we could get better for the money unless we got very lucky.

I think FF would be fine playing the way BR wants us to play. Gordon has let us down many times and is the weakest link in our team.
