I am worried that BR is starting to show a lack of respect for Scottish football. He seems to believe tht he can play anyone in any position and we will win.
Yesterday he choose players who had played in a CL and completed a long tiring journey from Kasakstan.
Again we played with a makeshift defence
It was not until the second half when we changed things that new eneregy and speed of passing brought results
I also noted that we again went to a back three as we did in Astana and Rosenberg when things got tough

This might be the way forward for every game. But to do this we need at least one new CB probably two
We could use Lusnig and Teirney wide against CL opposition with Three large CBs behind them Brown and Ntcham in front and the speed and skill of Sinclair/ Hayes Grifiths/ Dembele Forrest/ Roberts up front in 3/ 4/ 3 formation at home in scotland the middle 4 could include
Armstong Macgregor or Rogic with others dropping out.

I agree with your thinking on the way we could choose to set up. I like the fact we are versatile. BR has spoken about wanting a small squad, and players who can play a number of positions. For having been in a bit of a crisis, we've done well to qualify for the CL proper and in time the league will take care of itself.

No disrespect at all, boyata, Jozo, Erik not fit so we need to improvise and it's worked yesterday we lacked that wee spark in the first hour. However they only scored because Gordon tried to be clever! We still hit woodwork a few times and on another day we would have won. The panic on here is madness.

Totally agree, it's unbelievable to see the panic on here. When we have a fully fit squad there will be no issue in the SPL. However if we don't get a couple of good quality players in the masses will not be happy and rightly so!

Thought yesterday our defensive frailties was clear for all to see, button want to play wee daft passes in the box, and spends to much time on the ball, and lustig at times has moments of madness, my opinion is we need to buy a couple of good centre halfs, and get shot of jozo boyata etc as they are too injury prone.
On the other hand st johnstone set up very well and didn't allow us anytime on the ball, and I would play Armstrong before ntcham and mcgregor before Forrest but just views.

When you have a small squad whether it's versatile or not you are one a couple of injuries or suspension to key players away from a makeshift team which has got to catch up with you eventually, we have got away with it so far but the last 2 games must serve as a warning . Brendan you have 4 days to sort out that defence and get another striker in .

Was about to say the same Memaself, thought the saints done their homework and closed us down very quickly, yet we still got a draw, not bad for a team with a makeshift defence.

I had a wee gut feeling about yesterday as it has happened to us quite a few times at the same stage of previous seasons. - Long journey - or recovery after a vital CL game and playing a 'form team' who are on a wee run.
Obviously we are still struggling with defensive problems (including cocky Craig) and it took a while to shake things up, but we could have won with a bit more luck.
However at Celtic two games in a row without a win is verging on a crisis, the way we have been spoilt with BR.
