There's no way we"ll be paying 2.75m for a years loan for Paddy that's £55,000 a week! Not a chance unless we've agreed a figure to buy him outright after loan which I doubt.

That's why I thought 2.75 million was a bit over the top. Heard it on Snyde and reports online. Rodgers salary is around 2 million ( according to media) so there's no chance a deal would be above the managers! No doubt Brendan's on a huge bonus for qualification to the champions league along with the big wigs on charge. Hopefully Lawell gives a chunk of it for another 2 or 3 quality players.
