Hi ED just wondering what sort of time do the press conferences happen wae CL pre matches is it after training I take it?

{Ed007's Note - They are for domestic games and are usually around 14:00 but under UEFA Regs Press conferences must start between 12:00 and 20:00 local time so there's plenty of scope if Rodgers is busy elsewhere.}

Cheers ED who would be in your starting 11 for morra I would go with. CG, Ralston, Lustig, Simm, Tierney
Brown. Ntcham
Forrest. Mcgegor Sinclair
Grif.

{Ed007's Note - LG is speaking to the press just now and has said he is fully fit ahead of tomorrow's match. I'd go with that line up but I'd replace McGregor with Rogic.}

surely Lustig at right back and I would be happy with either Ayer or Biton @ centre back, probably Biton.

{Ed007's Note - I think that's what Rodgers will do too, Chris.}

Always a nervy night ed, I would go with Ralston and McGregor.
How did they beat Legia the very team I wanted to avoid, they must be decent or has Legia declined mate.

{Ed007's Note - Astana have won 3 of their last 18 away European matches, drawing 3 and losing 10 and they failed to score in 8 of those matches. They were lucky against Legia who should have beat them by more than 1 goal in Poland where Astana parked the bus BIG time and showed a lack of discipline throughout the game, with rash tackles etc. Astana were lucky they had got their 3rd goal at home in the 95th minute or something like that when the Legia players were dead on their feet with the heat or they would have went out on away goals.
I really don't see this tie posing any significant problems, no matter how hard people are trying to find them about weaknesses in the squad. This squad should be beating teams like this, we know exactly what to expect over there weather wise, they've had a new pitch installed so it's a better surface than last year which will help our passing game and we beat them last year with a poorer team than we have now.
They'll be a well drilled counter-attacking team, happy to sit back and soak up pressure which is what we face every week in the league. As long as we keep it tight at the back and keep our concentration we should take a good result over there next week. If players like Griffiths, Sinclair, Rogic or even Forrest/Hayes or McGregor are on their game they could cause them all sorts of problems running at their defence. I wouldn't be surprised to see a penalty.}

Place should be jumping tomorrow section is back in. Hopefully no bitton but can't see Rodgers not playing him just hoping this game suits his style as any pressure on him he just can't tackle.

Got the tickets in for tomorrow.
Reckon Bitton will be kept in the squad.
JUst seen your comment on LG ed, definitely makes the difference.
Think we will take a comfortable lead from this game tomorrow. Reckon we will put 3 or 4 by them.

{Ed007's Note - I'd be delighted with that but I'm going for 2-0.}

The good thing this season is that I don't dread the away tie like I have done in previous years. We seem to have found a good system for away games in place now where we shouldn't need to win by 3 or 4 goals to go through (Be'er Sheva) .
