I have been watching Ntcham and to be honest i have yet to see anything outstannding from him, I know it is very early days but i wonder if he is getting game time because BR paid so much for him.
I feel sorry for some of the young home grown players who do not get a real chance at times. Henderson Lindsey and others must get deflated when they get ignored no wonder the leave.

Not down on the boy as he looks a decent player. but with koussi (who i thought looked better in the friendlies ) already here i thought it a strange signing as ntcham kouassi and brown all play a similar role . i agree that our boys seem to be overlooked . without a chance we don't know how good they can become . i agree he doesn't look any better than Henderson.

N'tcham from what i have seen is a cross between brown and armstrong. he is strong, quick over 15 yards, quick passing and can thread a pass, although he has to work on his long range passing. he also has good feet and a fantastic enginge.

N'tcham will shine in europe, especially tight or away games. with regard to an advanced role and an attacking threat, then we will have to wait and see, but he has the attributes to be a very direct att mid as well as a dynamic cm.

reminds me of seedorf a little, build, movement and high tempo.

Don't know how you say he will shine in Europe, is better to wait for him to do it first, rather than big him up to soon, would rather get the SA thing sorted, and give Ntcham, s bit more time,

His touch and vision with a pass are something we've not seen in the hoops in a long, long time. This lad is the real deal.

Dont think he gave the ball away once against the wee huns i like the look of him.

ntcham looks good and armstrong is not playing like he did last season i know its just started but he seems preoccupied and kouassie is just in the wrong place at this time if brown is out for any reason i would expect him to be tried but its possible he won't stay to much longer.

Have to disagree he makes things look easy he has a great 1st touch, plays the ball well and if you look at Saturdays game he was always in the space covering for Brown when needed. He's only been here a month and has settled in very well.

Obviously it's very early days and we haven't seen enough of him yet but my concern is if Armstrong leaves - we lose a good few goals from midfield - as apart from wee McGregor (and Rogic when he's actually fit) the others may only score an handful between them?
If any new arrival worries me it's Hayes, as I think he is no better than Forrest, not a patch on wee Paddy Roberts and definitely not a better prospect than young Christie, who could really enhance the squad we have.

I wouldn't judge ntcham too early, last season I wasn't overly impressed with Dembele in his early games and he turned out okay.
The thing that amazes me though, is how players can be worth £4.5m when they have played none or very little first team football.
Sadly, with the Neymar transfer, fees are only going to get even more ridiculous.

{Ed007's Note - Ntcham played over 40 games for Genoa whilst on a 2-year loan there, Gerry and still had 3 seasons to run on his City contract. English clubs were being quoted £6 million and European clubs were being told Ntcham would cost 5 million Euros as long as they allowed City to have a buy-back clause or 7 million Euros to buy him outright.}

Agree 100% with you Stan, he's neat and tidy and will improve as time goes on and he becomes fully settled.

Am I right in saying Jozo had not played much football before we signed him?

If we are signing 19 / 20 / 21 year olds and clubs are " Stock piling " players, looks like that is our business model people need to get a reality check IMO.

{Ed007's Note - Simunovic had played 75 games for Dinamo Zagreb mate.}

Fair enough ED, I stand corrected.

{Ed007's Note - It's peanuts really when you see what players are going for down south - £250k for Waghorn(pen) is absolute madness!}

I don't agree with that one either, he made it look easy against Hearts and strolled about like Van Dijk used to. There have been a couple of overhit long passes as he settles in, but when he does I think we will see a great player, I thought some of his attacking passes from deep were great, and it seemed like the Hearts players were just bouncing off him at times.

Surprised Big Jozo had played as much as that Ed if honest knew he had came up from under 21's and then played a bit and then started picking up niggles

No wonder they are marking up there deals undisclosed @ ibrokes two of there star turns in him and McKay away for less than 800k! It's peanuts when you look at Boro are spending etc (Y)

{Ed007's Note - Remember Simunovic was a league invincible in Croatia as well.}

Time bhoys! The lad has just arrived at the team and needs to get up to speed with the Scottish game. He is already showing signs of how good a player he is but he is still a wee bit rough round the edges. I remember a certain Mr Larsson was a wee bit rough as well for a few games! I'm more concerned that Kouassi isn't up to speed yet given the time he's been here. We need our new midfielders to gel soon as I am convinced Armstrong doesn't want to be here and will be off.

Is that right Ed (Invincible) I never knew that

Impressive, Cannot be many in the game that has a DOUBLE Invincible on there CV never mind at the grand old age of 23? (Y)

{Ed007's Note - Lustig done it as well with Rosenborg in 2010 and obviously Kolo Toure done it with Arsenal in 2004.}
