Can we work out a system where griffiths and dembele can play in same team. I know griffiths ain't a winger but he can and dies score by cutting in from the right and shooting with his left foot.

Free role behind dembele and ahead of midfield . rogics role . he's more mobile than rogic . fitter than rogic. injured less than rogic. scores more than rogic. not a hater of Tom but that's the only position I can see we could get the best out of dembele and Griffiths in same line up Brendan likes. as you say I don't think he would be as effective as a winger .

DRB I been saying for months LG could play Rogic role, esp in the SPL we would score far more goals IMO.

We have a system that the gaffer and the team has worked hard to get right.
It was highly successful
Griffiths is a striker. A class one at that.
Why would anyone think it's a good idea to play him on the wing or any other position
How would that make us better?
Wouldn't it be a much better idea to buy player for the positions we need strengthening.
Playing players out of position takes away parts of their game.
Look at the difference in Armstrong when switched to his correct position
Lennon played Griffiths out wide and he never looked comfortable.

Deep river I do agree that Griffiths could play the rogic roll but do you think he might be to greedy with it because of his strikers instinct to to for goal most the time?

Two year ago I would have agreed kev but he has / still is maturing and improving as a player i think he could do it . br could employ a 352 in spl if moussa stays . as an aside rapid are far sharper here today and should be a few up.

griffiths in the 10 spot would be just like common's always taking a shot instead of passing to the forward (s)

DRB I just can't understand why anyone would change the system we play. We just went a whole season undefeated won a treble and score a a stack of goals.
Would changing a winning formula just to shoehorn a player in make us better?
I don't think so.
You get the best out of players in their best position
Griffiths is a striker play him there or not at all in my opinion.

Kev br likes players who can can adapt / adopt to different positions if lg can do that then it benefits the team.

Totally agree kev 1 or the other the system suits tho I never thought I'd say that. Rogic is far and away our best player in that position we were nowhere near as good last season when he was out.

I think Griffith's could play the same sort of role as Larson played when Sutton or Harrison were in the team, I think the best possible way is for Dembelle and Griffith's to play together, I expect Brendan to come around to my way of thinking sooner than later, Griffith's brings so much more to the team than only to be used as an out and out striker.

ive always said i just don't know why we can't just play the two of them as a partnership, if its good enough for henrik and sutton it will do for moussa and griff who would probably be even more prolific together than henrik and sutton, due to the griff's scoring ratio.

I think we should change it, so many can claim their expertise. B R has shown us a successful way . We should ditch that and maybe loan Brendan out for a yr and we can get a lackey in that will do what the fans want and show Brendan he isn't that clever.
