Hey bhoys, long time no post lol, Imo we won't sign Patrick roberts we just can't afford him . If he was our player on a long-term contract and someone wanted to buy him after the season he's just had we wouldn't talk for less than 10MIL, ots probably going to be our downfall the boy had such a good loan spell.

The difference is we'd be desparate to keep him. City want rid which means they're less likely to make excessive demands. The manager has also been quoted as saying we can afford to make a record signing if it makes financial sense for the club, which this most definitely would.

That's hard to take joe, but I think your right mate. That's a kick in the teeth because I think that bhoy is destined for the very top. If he doesn't come I wish him all the best. In my mind the best loan deal we have ever had 🍀🍀🍀.

Kev, I think what Joe means is that there are many potential clubs who will pay much more for him than we can afford. Just because City don't need the cash doesn't mean they won't try to get the highest price for the lad and they have a decent bargaining position because of the excellent season he has had with us. HH.
